Light chopping is to cut off a part of the cherry branch. 2. Refinement treatment
Under the condition of good growth, the dense branches, cross branches and overlapping branches of cherry can be mainly drained, which can reduce nutrient loss and improve lighting conditions. Pruning and thinning branches should not be too much during dormancy, and the tree shape should be adjusted after fruit picking. Moreover, in order to protect the wound, lead oil can be used to wipe the wound to avoid pus or cracking.

Strong branches, especially straight and strong branches, should not be delayed. Young trees and early-bearing trees of sweet cherry can delay some flat and oblique branches with moderate growth potential to promote more bouquets to bear fruit and bear fruit ahead of schedule.
