Master Jiqun: Although Buddhism admits that there are certain laws to follow in destiny, it does not believe that one’s birth determines the development of destiny. Because the development of destiny is intricate, birth date is only one way to interpret destiny. Buddhism believes that everything is created by the mind. The so-called destiny comes from people's thoughts and behaviors. Different actions produce good and evil karma, and each karma brings about the consequences of fate. In addition, we will encounter different situations and face different choices at every stage of life, which brings many possibilities for change. What's more, Buddhism believes that destiny can be changed, because destiny is created by the heart. Therefore, although fortune telling has certain truths, it can only tell us the basic laws of destiny development and cannot cover all changes. Even people born at the same time will have completely different life paths.
Some people strongly oppose the statement that people have destiny, and cite some reasons to prove that his view is correct. For example, among people born in the same year, the same month, the same day, the same minute and the same second, there is only one emperor and the others are different? They believe that as long as people have the six co-births in time, their fate will be the same, and there cannot be any difference, decline or prosperity. In fact, this is not the case. Just like the same sky, there are spring, summer, autumn and winter; the same earth, there are differences between water and land; the same wheat, planted at the same time on the same land, will grow taller and produce different ears of wheat. There are many factors that affect people's destiny, so even people born in the same six years have different destiny in life:
1. Different directions. For example, the east is wood, the south is fire, the west is metal, and the north is water. There is a difference between those born in the south and those born in the north. 2. Parents’ life expectancy is different.
3. Brothers and sisters have different life expectancies. 4. The life expectancy of spouses is different.
5. The number of children born varies.
Because the life expectancy of family members is different, the degree of imbalance of the five elements is different, and the impact on people is also different. If one person has a wood life and both his parents have a metal life, he will be defeated; another person also has a wood life, but his parents are both water people, and water produces wood. Then those who are born will have better luck, while those who are afflicted will have bad luck.
6. Men and women are different, so their fortunes are different.
7. The facial features and hand lines are absolutely different, so the things they do are different. 8. Everyone’s bones are different.
9. The ancestral graves and houses are different and have different orientations. Our country has the view of "one grave, two houses and three eight characters" since ancient times. That is to say, the quality of a person's destiny is determined firstly by the feng shui of the ancestral tomb, secondly by the feng shui of the house, and thirdly by the arrangement and combination of the four pillars.
10. Everyone’s genetics are different.
11. Everyone’s environment and family conditions are different.
Twelve, there is only one point of light in the star. There are thousands of people born in the same six years, but only one person can get the light spot of the planet on duty. As one publication reported, Mao Zedong's mother and father became pregnant with Mao after seeing a red light on the east side of the house at the same time. Of course, this red light would not be seen by other parents who were born at the same time.
13. Different beliefs lead to different fates. Those who believe in religion will be able to turn bad luck into good luck, while those who do not believe in it will inevitably suffer.
