What time is MG3?

Two special tools are needed: crankshaft positioning bolt and camshaft positioning fixture.

1. Crankshaft locating bolt. There is a screw hole near the oil pan at the front end of the cylinder block. Screw in the special bolt and turn the crankshaft until the counterweight touches the tail of the bolt, at which time the engine is at the top dead center of the first cylinder.

2. Camshaft positioning fixture. Loosen both camshaft sprockets, but do not remove them. Remove the rear end cover of the camshaft and adjust the position of the camshaft so that the fixture can be installed normally. At this time, the camshaft position is the top dead center of the first cylinder ignition.

3. After the above two steps are completed, install the chain, then loosen the chain tensioner to tighten the chain, and then tighten the camshaft sprocket.

4. Alignment is over.
