"Way of thinking" determines the direction of life
The truth, rules of experience and principles that I have learned in practical work and management are all common and can be expressed in easy-to-understand language. But I think it is because of the simplicity of ordinary that it is associated with "universality"
First of all, talk about the "life equation":
The result of life * work = way of thinking * enthusiasm * ability
This rule was introduced in the last article. The most important element in the formula is "thinking mode".
I want to make some contributions to society and the world, but how can a person with average ability like me make extraordinary contributions? After careful consideration, I came up with this equation. Since then, I have used this equation as the basis of my thinking, both at work and in life. The key to this equation is that it uses multiplication. For example, someone has a smart mind and 90 points of ability, but this person is self-sustaining and talented, and refuses to work hard. His enthusiasm is only 30 points. The product of the two is only 2700 points.
On the contrary, another person's talent is average, only 60 points, but he has self-knowledge, makes up for his own shortcomings with diligence, and devotes himself to his work with 90 points of full enthusiasm. As a result, his score was 5400, which was twice as high as that of the talented person who had no motivation.
Then, on top of this, you have to multiply it by "way of thinking", an element. The most important thing about "way of thinking" is its directionality, that is, there are good and bad ways of thinking. According to the "way of thinking", some people show their enthusiasm and ability in a good and positive direction, while others show their enthusiasm and ability in a bad and negative direction.
Because this "way of thinking" has a negative number, the higher the score of enthusiasm and ability, when the "way of thinking" is negative, the result of multiplication of the three is a very large negative number. Those clever criminals use their enthusiasm for "work" such as fraud and theft, because the "way of thinking" is negative and the outcome will be very bad.
Since multiplication is used to express the equation of life, we must give full play to the "way of thinking". Otherwise, even if you are a talented person, even if you are full of enthusiasm, the result will not only be "holding a golden bowl without food", but also endanger society.

Only in this way can we become heroes in the industry.
The necessary conditions for outstanding figures in industry, in order of importance, are as thoughtful as philosophers, as honest as soldiers, as smart as petty officials and as strong as farmers. Only when these four things are complete can you become a "big shot" who contributes to society.
Fukuzawa Yukichi's profound thoughts and incorruptible heart are equivalent to the "way of thinking" in the equation, the talent of a vulgar official is equivalent to "ability", and having a strong body and unremitting efforts is equivalent to "enthusiasm". This is a one-to-one correspondence, which strengthened my self-confidence and once again deeply realized the importance of "way of thinking", enthusiasm and ability.
