He and his twin brother He Shaoye were born on the fifth day of December in the fourth year of Jiaqing (1799). His father He (1772- 1840) lost his parents and his family was poor. The burden of family falls on He's mother Liao. Shortly after the third brother He Shaoqi was born, Liao's portable third son went to his uncle Liao Xianrui, which is why he lamented "My parents are so evil!" on Kloc-0/9' s birthday.
However, in the tenth year of Jiaqing (1805), He was 7 years old, and his father He was admitted to the Third Scholar. Because of his father's busy business, he often visits various provinces. When He was 24 years old, He came to Jinan with his father. For people in the Qing Dynasty, one of his great hobbies was visiting the antique calligraphy and painting market, which was the ethos of "liking the ancient" and "visiting the ancient" at that time. He, Ji Shao, is no exception. At that time, he Ji Shao was a brilliant young man. In his spare time, he likes to "visit historical sites" and "find posts", which is actually a stroll for people nowadays, but after it is recorded in He's diary, it becomes a very elegant thing.
During Daoguang's five years, He wandered around Lixia factory in Jinan. A monk named "Xilin" is holding a block-printed and mounted rubbings of Epitaph of a Black Woman. According to the monk, this rubbing is an orphan in the world. As a calligrapher, He liked the epitaph of this black woman very much and immediately bought this rubbings.
Where the monk sold to He Tuoben came from is not recorded, and there is no way to verify what He said about the Jinan factory. However, one thing we can confirm is that there is an inscription by Lu Zhi in the rubbings of Epitaph of a Black Woman: "Daoguang visited in the first month of the fifth year". Therefore, where Daoguang got this rubbings in the first month of the fifth year should also be some temple fairs and other activities in Jinan. Having such an opportunity is definitely destiny takes a hand's fate.
He Ji Shao, since Ji 'nan got the epitaph of a black woman, it can be said that the mouse couldn't put it down when he saw rice. We can see from the rubbings of Epitaph of a Black Woman handed down from ancient times that there are many inscriptions on the rubbings, one of which says, "After I got this post, I will go to Dengzhou first and then to Chu. This year, Bing Xu entered Beijing, traveled in Dinghai, re-entered Beijing and Chu, and Woods re-entered Beijing in winter, traveling back and forth for more than 20,000 miles. The boat window shop, sitting quietly and enjoying, has gained a lot. " It can be seen from this inscription that even though he walked more than 20,000 miles in the three years from Wuzi, the epitaph rubbings of a black woman obtained from Jinan have always accompanied him. They are really good friends.
In fact, I can see a lot of information about inscriptions in He's life. Why do you have a special liking for this black woman epitaph obtained in Jinan?
This starts with the rubbings themselves, and the full name of Epitaph of Zhang Heinv is Epitaph of Zhang Xuan Nanyang Wei. This epitaph is also called Epitaph of Zhang Xuan. The regular script of the first year of Putai in the Northern Wei Dynasty (53 1) has been lost for a long time, and only one copy has been handed down from generation to generation. The rubbings of Epitaph of a Black Woman are cut and mounted, with ***20 pages, 5 lines per page, and each line is full of 8 words, about 400 words. Natalie is a black woman, so we now call it Epitaph of Black Women, because she avoided the taboo of Kangxi Emperor Aisingiorro Michelle Ye.
Li Xiating's Couplet of Congratulations
We found the answer to the question in another postscript of He's Epitaph of a Black Woman: "I love the North Monument, so I am very diligent in imitation and rich in buying treasures. When the seal script is divided into letters, it is wonderful to do all kinds of evil, but its height, coarseness, precision and antiquity are unparalleled by Zhang Heinv. Every time you write, you have to hang your wrist high, and you can't write until you are all over your body. I was sweating like a pig in less than half an hour. It's not necessarily that hard to remember the ancients writing, but it's natural to have a wrist and a pen. I think, in one or two thousand years, I will try to get on the horse. Although it is futile to open it ten times, I can't help myself. " .
In this postscript of He, we can basically see the process of He learning calligraphy. In fact, He also loved Beibei's calligraphy as much as most people in the Qing Dynasty. The pursuit of high antiquity forced people to focus on seal script, and this black epitaph was the perfect combination of seal script and Beibei. Ji Shao, who discovered the big leak in Jinan, was ecstatic about such ready-made and unique information.
If we carefully find that the writing time of He Houji is "Xianfeng seven years", we will find that it was inscribed when He came to Jin 'an to give lectures again 35 years later. The Epitaph of a Black Woman was accompanied by He for a long time, which made He pursue and achieve calligraphy all his life.
He, who came to Jinan again after more than 30 years, is no longer a romantic teenager at that time, but a veteran of the book world who has long known his destiny. He wrote an inscription for "Epitaph of a Black Woman" again because he was invited by the then Governor of Shandong Province to give a lecture at Jinan Academy. During the lecture, it also coincided with the reconstruction of Daming Lake ancient pavilion. At the invitation of Chong-en, What Pavilion inscribed the couplet "Jinan celebrities come forth in large numbers". Although this couplet was written by Du Fu, He Ji Shao wrote it in the style of "Zhang Hei Nv Epitaph", which can also be said to be a tribute to his calligraphy enlightenment brought by "Zhang Hei Nv Epitaph", and also reminded him of the 27-year-old romantic teenager in Jinan at that time. . . .
The Sri Lankan people have gone, and Li Xiating's inscription is still there. When writing this couplet, we can still feel the mixed feelings of sadness and joy. Unfortunately, however, the original epitaph of Zhang Hei found in Jinan at the age of 27 is nowhere to be found, leaving only the Japanese version of Kolo for our reference.
