Steps for placing bronze mirrors in Yang’s ancient house
1. The owner and relatives of the house: abbreviated; the location of the Yangzhai and surrounding obstacles: abbreviated.
2. According to Wanquan Tongshu, we choose to place the auspicious sign at noon (11~12 o'clock) on Yihai Day, the 13th of this month (the 22nd of the eighth lunar month).
3. Wash the heart and marrow, take a bath and change clothes, burn three pillars of incense on the altar (or set up another altar facing the south), and place the bronze mirror on the table.
4. When the incense burns to two-thirds, perform three bows and recite silently: "There are spirits in the sky and the earth, the water and the wind are blowing, blessings from all directions, and the whole family is in peace."
5. Hold the bronze mirror flatly on the incense burner with both hands, turn it forward and backward three times, and then place it in the designated place.
6. During the ceremony, avoid children playing, people watching, and dirty words.
