Step 1: Start from the cheekbone, pass through the lower edge of the alar, and paste the tension-free adhesive tape;
Step 2: Wrap the tracheal intubation twice and stick it on the opposite cheek naturally without tension;
Step 3: insert the dental pad;
Step 4: Use trapezoidal adhesive tape to slightly tighten the tooth pad and tracheal intubation for two turns, and then fold back a little elastic bandage at the end to tear off the opening for the next replacement;
Step 5: wrap the braid around the back neck or the upward auricle (pad the gauze block to avoid pressing the auricle);
Step 6: braid, tie and fix.
Figure-8 tracheal intubation fixation method, emergency tracheal intubation patients are usually fixed with adhesive tape, but for patients with blood, vomit and sweat on their cheeks, if fixed with adhesive tape, it is easy to be affected by secretions and make the adhesive tape loose. Compared with nasal intubation, oral intubation is simpler and faster, with less trauma, easier expectoration and fewer complications. It is the most reliable and effective first aid measure in rescue.
