The topography of Xupu South Station is complex and fluctuates greatly. The station is 750 meters on the viaduct, 500 meters on the subgrade and 250 meters into the tunnel. The accumulated water in the subgrade section of the station can flow into the drainage ditch of the station through the longitudinal drainage ditch between tracks and be discharged to both sides outside the station, and the drainage on the bridge in the station can be discharged by itself through the seepage system. The mileage end of Xupu South Station is a 7km long tunnel with an uphill slope of 19‰. The accumulated water in the tunnel flows into the subgrade section of the throat area at the long mileage end through the drainage ditch and is discharged into the culvert, and the rainwater in the excavation section at the short mileage is discharged into the Dor River through the side ditch. There are three rural dirt roads crossing the railway in the station, and this design is designed as overpass or culvert according to the site topography. About 800m on the left side of the line, there is a Zhong-Gui highway parallel to the station, and the road leading to the station can be connected to it nearby.
The long-distance platform of the station partially crosses a Y9 county road from Xupu to longtan town, with convenient transportation.
