What is faith? In fact, it gives you inspiration and motivation when you are helpless. It is actually a methodology.
Do you believe in the theory of relativity? I believe it. In fact, I have no faith now. Most of my relatives believe in Buddhism. I recently searched for some information, but where are the roots and theoretical basis? I didn’t find that Amitabha was the predecessor or master of Sakyamuni Buddha, but what about going further? Moreover, I could not find a detailed explanation on how the universe was formed and the evolution of the earth. I was a little distressed and stopped looking.
Taoism is a localized product of the Chinese nation. Its "Tao Te Ching" has a very incisive discussion, and there are also "Yi Jing", "Yin Yang and Five Elements", "Eight Character Fortune Telling" (Six Yao), etc. They are interrelated. At first, I learned about Bagua by watching "Five Elements in Name" out of boredom. In recent times, health and wellness are often talked about on TV. Many of the contents are related to Five Elements Bagua, as well as people's face, hands, feet and five internal organs. The six internal organs can all show the same state. I am somewhat interested in "Five Elements and Five Internal Organs", and the theory of yin and yang is often mentioned in "Compendium of Materia Medica" and "Huangdi Neijing". I traced it back to its origins and read the "Tao Te Ching" and then connected it with reality. It makes sense and is so classic.
As for other religious sects, they were imported and accepted by the Chinese culture after being incorporated into the Chinese culture. You can also trace the origins and the relationship between the various gods. I can't accept it.
Actually, I still have no faith. I agree with anyone who is right and makes sense from beginning to end and can answer my questions.
In fact, belief is the same as listening to music. Just listen to what you want, like to listen to, and feel that it is suitable for you. There is no need to rush into it head-on. There are many things that we can’t solve at the time, so let’s put it aside and wait for it to settle before we think about it and we will figure it out.
Quoting a few sentences from the Tao Te Ching, I hope you can understand: Everyone has something to spare, but I am alone. I have a fool's heart. The common people are in a daze, but I am alone in a daze. The common people look at me, but I am bored alone. Everyone has their own problems, but I am stubborn and mean. I am uniquely different from others, yet I am noble and food-loving.
