Bus No. 7 runs every 20 minutes.
Before, there was a bus from the Party School to the Party School, with a bus every 20 minutes and 9 buses running. Starting from September 9, 2020, bus No. 7 will run from Guiyang North Station to No. 3 Middle School every 15 minutes. The stopping points are: North Station, Bazitang, Mengquan School, Old Gymnasium, Cinema, Chengzhong Road, No. 3 Middle School and Old Bus Terminal, return to Guiyang North Station via the same route.
The bus routes are arranged as follows:
1. Follow the principle that the routes cover the main passenger flow corridors. The setting of lines, especially the setting of main lines, must be consistent with the main passenger flow direction. Urban passenger flow OD needs to be obtained through resident travel surveys.
2. The line length is moderate. The length of the line is too long, resulting in a decrease in vehicle turnover. In order to ensure transportation efficiency, more operating vehicles need to be invested, increasing costs; the line length is too short, resulting in an increase in the number of travel transfers, causing inconvenience to passengers.
3. The lines at different levels should be different. The main line should try its best to cover the city's main roads. The non-linear coefficient of the line should not be too large and should be as small as possible. It is best to control it at 1-1.5. The non-linear coefficient should not be too large.
Bus routes are planned by bus companies based on urban development and the basic needs of the public. Whether to add new ones is determined by the relevant departments’ bus planning. Mainly make changes and plans based on the travel needs of the people.
