Shaoxing Bazi Bridge

It is a stone pier and stone beam bridge located in the southeast of Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province. The bridge is 5 meters high and 3.2 meters wide. One bridge spans three rivers, with an ingenious layout and special shape. The main bridge spans the main river, and bridge slopes are built at both ends. It is divided into three sections, the main section has 5 spans, the spans are 4.80 meters, 6 meters, 8.30 meters, 5 meters, 5.20 meters, 1.30 meters wide, with an 8.30-meter middle hole as the main bridge, 5 meters high, and rectangular stone solid piers , three stone strips are juxtaposed on the bridge deck, the longest is 5.70 meters, and the solid railings are 50 cm high and 16 cm wide. The second section is at right angles to the main section and is a three-span approach bridge. The third section is at right angles to the second section and connects to the south bank. The shape of the bridge is based on the design of building bridges in shallow parts of the river bed. There are many inscriptions on the bridge railings and piers. The main bridge stone is engraved with the words "Ancient Hongming Bridge" and "Rebuilt in the 6th year of Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty (1801)". Other places are also engraved with the words "Built by craftsmen through hard work and friendship".

The towpath bridge is located in Keqiao Town, Shaoxing County, Zhejiang Province. It is the towpath bridge of the Xiaoshao Canal. First built during the Tongzhi period of the Qing Dynasty (1862-1874 AD), the bridge runs in the same direction as the river. It is a long bridge that runs through the vast river.
