Improve your appearance and sweep all interviews!

Perhaps many girls have had this trouble, being told behind their backs: "I look okay, but I have no temperament!"

What is temperament? In my opinion, it means being able to have a certain degree of recognition among the crowd and having something memorable at a glance.

It is said that "you are full of poetry and calligraphy", which is true, but this refers to inner cultivation, which requires others to communicate with you to shine.

And if you seem to have no desire for others to understand you further, how can the hidden beauty be discovered?

I have been engaged in media art examination training for six years. Many students have been admitted to good universities, such as Zhejiang University of Science and Technology, Shangxi Theater and so on.

I have been responsible for their drama courses and interview guidance. I have some common sense in this area.

I won’t talk about complicated theories, just use the most understandable vernacular to share it with you.

Everyone knows that there are thousands of art candidates nowadays. How to break through the siege and make the interviewer have a good first impression of you. The image score in the first step will be far ahead of the opponent. This is Very critical.

This impression comes from the candidate’s temperament. The temperament here refers to the body’s deportment and expression. The same goes for any interview.

When almost every one of my students first came to the interview class, their manners were so bad that they couldn’t bear to look at them.

There are three main categories:

1. Girls mostly walk in small steps, tapping the ground lightly, as if they are afraid of stepping on ants.

2. Boys have a uniform hunched-over shape.

3. Weird facial expressions and small body movements.

To overcome the above points, you must first do: Relax.

It sounds simple, but in reality it is the most difficult thing to do.

Because everyone is nervous! We went to take a photo, and when the photographer told us to "relax, relax", we didn't know how to relax!

This is human nature, the tension and fear caused by uncertainty about unknown things.

"I have never taken a formal physical education class, but I have learned professional recitation. What should I do?"

"Where should I place my hands and which direction should my feet move?" Ah!”

“If I don’t perform well, I will definitely finish the game!”

Yes, if you don’t relax and become confident, you won’t have any confidence at all! Take the next step and your interview will indeed be over.

The psychological impact of self-confidence is huge. Once you find your breakthrough point, you can be said to be able to transform your nervous and anxious self into a completely different person in an instant.

First of all, put on exquisite makeup, wear the most handsome clothes, look in the mirror and take selfies. You will understand that your appearance is very impressive, and when you dress up, you are either a god or a goddess. Looking at you looking so outstanding in the mirror, why should you not be confident?

Secondly, you must have a normal mind.

In layman’s terms, it’s a bit arrogant and a bit cocky.

I thought silently: "I'm here to take the exam for your school/company... I think highly of you, okay? It's up to you whether you accept or not. I'll have to eat hot pot after I finish it quickly!"

That’s true. If you don’t pass the exam, there will be another one. Schools and companies recruit a lot of them, and civil servants are recruited every year. You really don’t have to care about the gains and losses this time.

Convince yourself a few more times, and you will feel that the interviewers will not be arrogant and capable of taking over life and death. You just take the time to say a few words to them, and you can completely win over them with your personal charm and temperament. Get rid of them!

If the second point cannot be achieved for the time being, then do the opposite and establish your utilitarianism first.

Continuously put pressure on yourself, telling yourself that you must pass the exam and you must pass the exam. The consequences of the failure of all kinds of sexual intercourse are as tragic as the sexual intercourse is, which tightens the heart to the utmost.

At the same time, I keep reminding myself: No matter how nervous I am, I can’t escape that interview!

Then, when you reach the breaking point, you can relax completely. It’s like the transformation from looking at the bottom of your feet before bungee jumping to actually jumping.

"Do whatever you want, it doesn't matter, it doesn't matter to me!"

Yes, this is the feeling you want!

Only after overcoming the nervous psychological barrier can you formally enter into the shaping of your manners.

First, remember, straighten your back and don’t hunch your back.

It doesn’t matter whether Ge You is paralyzed or lying down after you go home. The first second you appear in front of the interviewer, the first step you have to straighten up when you open the door of your home.

Many people usually hunch their backs unconsciously, especially students. If you don't know how to change this habit, try the simplest method: take five minutes a day to stand against a wall.

Let’s put aside the nine-point wall-leaning theory and just remember two parts: tuck your abdomen and shoulders as far back as possible against the wall.

There will be obvious results within a few days.

Second, you must get used to holding your chest up and your abdomen in for a long time.

This abdominal tightening does not mean inhaling all the way from the waist and abdomen to the chest, but only using the belly to inhale only the waist and abdomen.

This way your belly will look much flatter and your waist will be much slimmer. What's more important is that you will puff up your chest unconsciously. Because that part of the body function is reflexive.

And you can practice while sitting.

Girls insisting on doing this will also help maintain their figure. I have personally discovered through experiments that no matter how much I gain weight in the past few years, there is no fat on my belly.

Third, girls stand in a standard T-step posture, while boys have feet in a small splay.

It’s very easy to keep your chest up, your abdomen in, and not hunched over.

The girl is as shown in the picture

A little suggestion: when standing still, the girl’s arms should be lowered a little, and the inner side of the arms should be slightly close to the body for a better visual effect, as shown in the picture It's a bit like saying: "Welcome!"

For boys, open your legs, but the width should not exceed the shoulders, and remember not to pigeon-hole your feet. The hands hang naturally on both sides of the body, or the right hand covers the left hand, placed in front of the body, below the navel. Be careful not to become a "crotch-covering fan."

Don’t believe what is taught in etiquette tutorials. Boys should put their hands behind their backs. If you don’t believe it, ask someone to take a photo. It will really look like a gangster waiting for a lecture from the boss.

After doing this, when standing in front of the interviewer, the girl will show a slim and refreshing temperament. Boys can also leave a good impression of being stable and majestic.

Fourth, try to walk as wide and as fast as possible.

Now is no longer the era when beauty is regarded as three-inch golden lotus. Have you noticed that girls who learn to dance, especially those who have enough basic skills, look very good.

They generally walk with a slightly splayed figure, which is a sequelae of practicing basic skills since childhood, but none of them have small steps.

We can’t stride like supermodels on the catwalk with full aura, but we have to speed up.

I walked into the examination room with small steps, without energy at all, and made people anxious.

I found that students with small steps have a characteristic, that is, they are used to tapping the ground with the tip of their toes first. This way they look like they have no center of gravity and the tapping style of walking is not good-looking.

I took them back and forth several times with little success. They said: "Oh, teacher, I have always walked like this, and I can't change it!"

I secretly took photos of their hunched posture with their breasts in their arms, and secretly took photos of them taking small steps. After showing the video to them, they covered their faces and ran away. They corrected themselves within three classes.

All bad habits that you are unwilling to change only depend on whether you face yourself and whether you have enough determination!

Five. Facial expression and body control.

Every year I meet students with various minor problems.

For example: raising eyebrows when speaking, blinking, staring, wrinkled nose, unable to close mouth...

For example: shaking legs when standing, combing hair, covering mouth, index finger touching nose , shaking the body...

For example: no expression (referred to as stiffness)

These can be changed in the end! It can be changed! It can be changed!

Method 1, learn to speak with a smile.

It’s not a silly smile, it’s the lively smile that comes naturally when chatting with friends about a particularly funny gossip.

This way your facial quirks can be eliminated naturally.

The method is to practice in front of the mirror, in front of the mobile phone, and find a friend to practice with you.

Also: watch the live broadcast and learn how the anchors speak with a smile.

If you really can’t learn it, when you meet the interviewer, remember to bow gently and smile before starting to talk, which can increase your favorability.

All coaches and teachers can only tell you what to do, but cannot do it for you. So, really can't light absorb, don't practice.

In my school, no matter whether it is broadcasting, hosting or directing and performing, the ones who get the best exams every year are not necessarily the ones with the best personal conditions, but they are really the ones who work the hardest in private.

2. Add appropriate gestures to your narration process.

In all narration processes, whenever there are redundant body movements, the reason is that appropriate gestures are not included.

Without the guidance of gestures, the language is pale, like memorizing text, or the blunt effect played by a repeater.

And many bad actions are not our usual habits, but are only brought out unconsciously at a specific time.

Then use other actions to cover it up.

You asked me how to specifically add gestures? I can't tell you. Because everyone’s interview content is different.

I can only tell you that the interview is a performance. In those short few minutes, you have to put on a personal show of yours

The person you show off , it doesn’t matter whether it is consistent with your own personality or completely opposite.

According to the characteristics of the company you are interviewing for, create your route positioning, whether it is gentle and fresh, or a sunny boy. Is it a classic literary style or a European and American style? Is it dignified and steady or humorous...

You pick one that you feel you can hold and try to figure it out and get familiar with.

As long as you understand the essence of the character you have chosen, you will find it so easy to add gestures when narrating.

Because you must present the character you created more convincingly and appealingly!

The overall image you present during the interview is a reflection of your comprehensive temperament, including: overall deportment, vocal enunciation, narrative tone, expression control, and gestures.

As for language expression.

1. Mandarin.

It doesn’t matter if it’s not standard. As long as the interview host is not working as a news reporter, there is no need to be strict with the words and the accent, but it is best to erase the strong local accent.

2. Speak out your voice and don’t hold it in your throat.

We are not studying vocal music or broadcasting and hosting. It doesn’t matter if we can’t use our breath to make a sound. At least everyone in the 40-square-meter room can hear us.

3. Let the voice have emotion and ups and downs, and pay attention to sentence breaks and pauses.

Find more emotionally charged articles to read.

4. The most important thing is to be calm and resourceful.

When the interviewer asks a question, if you suddenly can’t remember the answer you prepared, don’t panic, let alone get stuck.

You can only have 2 seconds of pause time, and then you can say as much as you can think of. Don’t compete with yourself. You have to stand there and think hard, and you have to speak as well as you can memorize. The answers are exactly the same, which makes absolutely no sense.

Just make it up if you can’t remember it, or just say a few words. Don't tell the interviewer, "Sorry, I forgot." No one will appreciate your honesty.

I heard that many friends will pay etiquette teachers for training in order to improve their temperament and prepare for interviews. In fact, I think this money can be saved. I am not a professional etiquette teacher, but I can train students well, so you can definitely do it too.

The most important thing in an interview is the psychology of the candidate.

Mental state directly affects on-the-spot performance. As for improving your temperament and deportment, the most important thing is practice in daily life. Friends and family are your best sparring partners and judges.

This is a summary of some of my experiences over the years. This is my first time writing a practical article. I hope it can be helpful to everyone in various interviews to reflect their temperament.
