Colleagues and friends were surprised and said that Zhouyi was so profound and difficult to understand. So I started thinking, hoping to write my learning experience in simple words. Today, I will talk about why the Book of Changes can predict things. What is the principle behind it.

There are two kinds of people who study the Book of Changes: Yi Li School and Xiang Shu School.
The school of Righteousness is to extract hexagrams, study their philosophical connotations, and learn truth from them to guide life.
The image-number school is divination, which analyzes what the divination represents every time and is used to predict personnel.
To put it more grounded, there are two ways to learn Zhouyi, one is to watch Mao Zedong Thought, and the other is to play tarot cards.
Yi Li School studies philosophical principles
The prediction of Zhouyi and Shu Shu (numerology, eight characters, geomantic omen, strange door, etc.) is inevitably compared with ghosts, immortals and demons in traditional concepts. This has a lot to do with folk myths and the rendering of movies and TV series. I don't know the fairy family, and I belong to the category of respecting and maintaining independence. In the process of studying Zhouyi and eight characters, I got the most real and objective principle of four words: analogy.
what is image analogy? For example, the nature of water is flowing. Besides water, there are also things with the same flowing characteristics. For example, stations, tourism and talent markets are all scenes with more mobility, so they can be seen in the five elements of "water". What else? Can people? Sure. Some people's personalities often change, they just think of a plan and change their minds in less than a few minutes, or they are very clever and have a lot of ideas. These are the characteristics of mobility, and people with this characteristic can also be regarded as the "water" of the five elements.
Back to divination in Zhouyi, we use a symbol to represent the "water" mentioned just now, and then give the symbol a name called "Kan". The divinatory symbol represents water, and this symbol represents an image with similar characteristics to water. Whether to interpret it as a "station" or a "talent market" or the person who often changes his mind depends on the actual situation of the problem.
There are so many people and things in the world that one symbol is definitely not enough, so different symbols should be mixed and matched to represent more different connotations. And the principles of China's other skills, most of them never leave. Speaking of this, everyone will understand that Zhouyi is actually a process of representing various natural phenomena and laws between heaven and earth with symbols, and then deducing things of similar nature.
