Argon arc welding is a welding technology using argon as shielding gas. Also known as argon shielded welding. Argon shielding gas is introduced around arc welding to isolate the air in the welding zone and prevent the welding zone from oxidation. Argon arc welding technology is a kind of welding technology developed on the basis of ordinary arc welding principle. Argon gas is used to protect metal welding materials, and the welding materials are melted into liquid on the welded substrate by large current to form a molten pool, so that the welded metal and welding materials can achieve metallurgical bonding.
Because argon gas is continuously introduced during high-temperature melting welding, the welding material will not contact with oxygen in the air, which prevents the oxidation of the welding material, so stainless steel and iron metal can be welded. The working principle of argon arc welding in main circuit, auxiliary power supply, driving circuit and protection circuit is the same as that of manual arc welding. I won't describe it here, but mainly introduce the unique control function and arc initiation circuit function of argon arc welding machine.
Working principle:
Non-melting electrode argon arc welding is that the arc burns between the non-melting electrode (generally tungsten electrode) and the workpiece, and inert gas (generally argon gas) which does not react with the metal flows around the welding arc to form a protective gas cover, so that the tungsten electrode, the arc, the molten pool and the high-temperature metal adjacent to the heat affected zone are not in contact with air, which can prevent oxidation and absorb harmful gases. So as to form a dense welded joint with excellent mechanical properties.
The welding wire is fed through the wire wheel, and the conductive nozzle conducts electricity, so that an arc is generated between the base metal and the welding wire, so that the welding wire and the base metal are melted, and the arc and the molten metal are welded under the protection of inert gas argon. Different from TIG welding: one is that the welding wire is used as the electrode, which is continuously melted and filled into the molten pool, and then condensed to form a weld; The other is to use protective gas. With the application of MIG welding technology, shielding gas has developed from a single argon gas to a variety of mixed gases.
High current density, concentrated heat, high deposition rate and fast welding speed. In addition, it is easy to arc. Need to strengthen the protection, because the arc light is strong and the smoke is heavy, so it is necessary to strengthen the protection.
