How to tie the string hook line to the main line

Chord hook lines can be tied to the main line in the following ways:

1. Handle the main line: First, handle the secondary line. The hook is not directly tied to the main line, but needs to be tied to the auxiliary line, and then the main line and the auxiliary line are connected together. First, you need to insert two space beans at the front end of the main line, and then install a lead pendant.

2. Connect the main line and the auxiliary line: After the main line is processed, take a fishing line as the auxiliary line and then tie it to the main line, so that the main line and the auxiliary line are connected together.

3. Assemble the chord hook: Finally, tie the chord hook to the auxiliary line. If the rope hook is complete, it can be tied directly. But if the hook has not been installed, it needs to be assembled first. Fold the sub-line in half, insert a space bean, and then hang a hook at the end. Repeat this step to assemble the chain hook.

4. Hooking: Wrap the hooked auxiliary line around the main line, then put it above the main line, hold it still with your left hand, and wrap the hook end around the main line for about 5 times with your right hand. Finally, tighten it and it will be connected.

Optimum length of rope hook line:

Generally speaking, the length of the sub-line matched with the rope hook is preferably between 20 and 25 cm. Sublines within this range can actually be used, and the frequency of use is relatively high, and the effect is relatively good.

When choosing the secondary line, it should not be too short or too long, both of which will lead to some troubles in the fishing process. For example, too long will affect the speed of signal transmission, which is not particularly suitable.

If it is too short, although the signal transmission speed is relatively fast, it is not easy to judge the timing of lifting the pole. When choosing within the above range, some factors should also be considered, such as the size of the fish. When the fish is bigger, it is necessary to use a longer substring.

Short substring is easy to form hook bait, which does not conform to the habit of bottom fish foraging, so the catch rate will be greatly reduced. Because the free space specified by the sub-line is small, the fish is easy to be alert when swallowing the hook, and will quickly unhook when struggling or finding a foreign body in its mouth.
