When I was a child, because of my poor family, I went to the Wu family of Qianjiawei Bazi Bridge as a child bride. Later, I canceled my contract and went back to my parents' house to sell smuggled salt. I have lived in Jinshan, Pinghu and Taihu Lake. After gathering in the mountains, they became bandits around jinshanwei, Zhapu and Taihu Lake. During this period, I have married two husbands.
When another group of smugglers robbed the waterway, Huang Bamei was forced to engage in a firefight. She opened her bow with two guns and knocked her opponent to the ground. The title of "Huang Bamei with Two Guns" has been circulated in rivers and lakes, becoming a heroine among women in the green forest of Taihu Lake Basin.

After the Japanese invasion of China broke out, Huang Bamei used his own property to buy guns and ammunition in Fengxian rural area, and through his own gang relationship, he organized an anti-Japanese armed force of more than 300 people to fight against the Japanese aggressors and the Wang Puppet Army.
1June, 938, Huang Bamei's team was incorporated into the 62nd Division of the Kuomintang Army. Soon, he was co-edited with Xie Yousheng, another gang in Pinghu, and was appointed as the captain of the big advisory spy by Konantei of the Military Bureau.
Since then, Huang Bamei married Xie Yousheng and formed the "Jiangnan Advance Team". He once captured the Japanese garrison captain Sansan Ji Jun alive and killed him in the west of Xincang Town, which dealt a heavy blow to the arrogance of the local Japanese aggressors. After that, he attacked many times through guerrilla warfare. 1April, 944, captured Dongxiang Town such as Huxiao Bridge, Quangong Pavilion and Jinsiniang Bridge in Pinghu County, and incorporated the Wang Puppet Peace Army into Quangong Pavilion.
