The official system in the Qing Dynasty followed the basic system of "nine products and eighteen products" since the Han, Wei and Six Dynasties, and each product was different from other products, such as one product being correct (old reading zhěng) and one product being subordinate.
In addition, there are super-quality officials, who do not belong to the imperial clan, the Mongolian princes of the Eight Banners and the non-imperial clan. Those that are not within the eighteenth grade are called "no inflow", which is subordinate to the ninth grade in terms of grade.
Generally speaking, the official system of the Qing Dynasty can be divided into two categories. One is the regional system, which is divided into Beijing officials and local officials. The second is the functional system, which is divided into two major systems: civil servants and military attache. These two categories are intertwined. Among them, the official system in Beijing is mainly civilian, while the local official system is both civil and military.
