The road section is in Zhuozhou.
Let’s talk about Fanyang Road first. Because Zhuozhou once used the place name Fanyang County, the first main road in the city was later called Fanyang Road!
Then Huayang Road, during the Warring States Period, Zhuozhou was a city of the Yan State. It is said that there is a magnificent Huayang Tower in the northwest corner of the city, and the luxurious Huayang Pavilion is built on the Huayang Tower. The pavilions are decorated with carved beams and painted roofs, and the flying pavilions and winding corridors. There are rockeries, ancient vines, weeping willows and lotus ponds in the courtyard, carrying various exotic flowers and plants, and the scenery is picturesque. It is said that this is the place where King Yan received banquets with distinguished guests. In this Huayang Tower, we also hosted banquets for Jing Ke, a strong man who worked for Yan and plotted to assassinate the King of Qin, and Fan Yuqi, a traitor general of Qin who offered his head for revenge. This is the origin of the name Huayang Road!
Then there is Guanyun Road. I really don’t know about this.
Taoyuan Road, as the name suggests, is the road near Taoyuan, where Liu Guan and Zhang Taoyuan were sworn in.
Sanyi Road is also named to commemorate the sworn relationship between Liu Guan and Zhang San!
Yongji Road is the North Second Ring Road. Because this road is close to Yongji Bridge, it is named Yongji Road!
Li Daoyuan Road and South Second Ring Road are named Li Daoyuan Road in memory of Li Daoyuan because Li Daoyuan Village is close to this road!
Zhen'an Temple Street is the southbound section of Nanguan Street. There used to be a temple called Zhen'an Temple, and Zhen'an Temple Street got its name from this!
Changkong Road, named Changkong Road because a certain Air Force unit is here!
It is said that Longma Road and Longma Aluminum Industry may have paid for the road construction, and it also symbolizes the spirit of Longma. So it’s called Longma Road!
Jiaxiu Road, a Jiaxiu Tower in Guizhou should not be confused with Jiaxiu Road. Jiaxiu Road means the first scholar!
There are also many roads and streets in Zhuozhou, which are basically the same as other places, such as Dongdajie Street and Chaoyang Road that are found in many cities. These are not named according to their meanings!
