A 100-word biography of Liu Hulan

Liu Hulan (formerly known as Liu Fulan, October 8, 1932 - January 12, 1947).

A native of Yunzhou West Village (now renamed Liu Hulan Village) in Elephant Township (now renamed Liu Hulan Town), Wenshui County, Shanxi Province, he was born in a middle-peasant family. In October 1945, she studied in the "Women Cadre Training Class" organized by the Wenshui County Committee of the Communist Party of China. After studying for more than a month, she returned to the village and served as the secretary of the Village Women's Rescue Association. In May 1946, she was appointed as the women's officer of the fifth district of Wenshui County. He joined the Communist Party of China in June 1946 and became a party member candidate. In the same month, he was transferred back to Yunzhouxi Village to lead the local land reform movement. In January 1947, she was captured and killed by government troops.
