After occupying some areas, Ming Yuzhen chose Chongqing as its capital, so Ming Xia was born. At that time, Ming Xia was bigger than Xiwu established by Zhu Yuanzhang, and naturally became a unified dynasty after the Yuan Dynasty in the Ming and Xia Dynasties.
Ming Xia existed for a short time because Ming Yuzhen chose to cooperate with Xiwu Zhu Yuanzhang in the crusade against the Yuan Dynasty. Ming died during the crusade against the Yuan Dynasty, and his death made the situation in Ming Xia very turbulent. In the end, the Yuan Dynasty finally perished rapidly. Mingxia's territory
In the twenty-second year of Zheng Zheng (1362), Ming Yu Zhen officially proclaimed himself emperor, with the title "Summer" and "Another Day". He made his capital in Chongqing and established Ming Xia. At its peak, its territory reached Yiling (now Yichang City, Hubei Province) in the east, Zhongqing (now Kunming City, Yunnan Province) in the west, Bozhou (now Zunyi City, Guizhou Province) in the south and Xingyuan (now Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province) in the north.
The newly-built places are Duke Zhou, Qijiang County and Shiyang County. There are counties such as Zizhou, Luojiang, Jiangyuan, Yongkang, Baoning, Jiangyou, Anyue, Jingyan, Changning, Dazu, Dianjiang, and Marshal yongningzhen. The counties merged with the province are Xiaoxi County in Suining, Zhao Shi County in Hezhou, Yingjing County in Yandao County and Foxiang Township in Yimei County.
The county changes include: changing Lewen County to Changshou County, Longzhou to Xuanwei Division of Longzhou, Yongning Road to Marshal's Mansion in yongningzhen, and Luzhou to Marshal's Mansion in Luzhou Road.
