What should the test base look like? I am writing a post-apocalyptic novel in which the protagonist needs to enter a biochemistry institute. But what should be in the institute?

Rooms: Defense Office, Category 4 Item Storage Room (for storing viruses), Biochemical Research Room, Conference Room, Sample Storage Room (for unknown organisms)

Instruments: Culture Dish, biochemical culture tank (which is full of culture fluid and unknown organisms...) centrifuge, extraction machine

Others: biochemical protective clothing, white coat. . .

Weapons: syringe gun (like an old-fashioned rifle, with the middle part replaced by an empty slot where the syringe can be placed), stun device (I won’t talk about this), standard pistol, fully automatic weapon
