4J36 low expansion alloy Invar
Overview of the characteristics and application areas of 4J36:
4J36 alloy is also called INVAR alloy, Invar, alloy The Curie point is about 230°C. Below this temperature, the alloy is ferromagnetic and has a very low expansion coefficient. Above this temperature, the alloy is non-magnetic and the expansion coefficient increases.
This alloy is mainly used to manufacture components with approximately constant dimensions within a temperature range, and is widely used in the radio industry, precision instruments, meters and other industries.

4J36 Metallographic structure:
The alloy is a single-phase austenitic structure.
4J36 process performance and requirements:
1. The alloy is easy to be cold and hot processed. During thermal processing, heating in a sulfur-containing atmosphere should be avoided.
2. The cutting properties of this alloy are similar to austenitic stainless steel. When processing, high-speed steel or carbide cutting tools are used for low-speed cutting. Coolant can be used when cutting. The alloy has good grinding properties. Known as the king of metals, it is an indispensable structural material for precision instruments and equipment.
