The founder, Max Mazza, is a fashion designer, artist, entrepreneur, and outdoor sports pioneer.
Born in 1965 in a tailoring family in Milan, Italy, Max Mazza was influenced by his family. He started making his own clothes at the age of 14 and has kept this habit to this day. Max Mazza is so focused on clothing design that he is so stubborn that he won't listen to anyone's opinions. Because of such a strong character, Max Mazza received an admission notice from the Marangoni Institute of Fashion Design in 1981, which is the best fashion school in Milan and the best in Italy. From then on, Max Mazza embarked on his own design career. road.
In 1985, Max Mazza graduated with honors and won multiple graduation awards. He was also called by Mr. Gianni Versace: a designer with great potential. Invited to participate in Gianni Versace's first fashion show in Victoria, UK. In the same year, Max Mazza held his first men's fashion show in Milan.
Max Mazza, who completed all his graduation work in 1986, embarked on a journey to climb the Alps. This was the dream of every young man in Europe in this era. When climbing LISKAMM, the fifth highest peak in the Alps, Max Mazza failed to reach the summit due to hypothermia. This was Max Mazza's biggest regret at the time.
In the same year, Max Mazza founded Max Mazza Fashion Desige (Max Mazza Fashion Design Company) in Via scralatti.
The design is divided into two parts, one part is called FASHION and the other part is called OUTDOOR ;
FASHION part Max Mazza uses his own name as a brand and designs more exquisite men's clothing.
The OUTDOOR part is named LISKAMM to commemorate that unfinished dream.
The early LISKAMM was just Max Mazza's amateur work. The purpose was to create a warm garment for himself that could be used to climb various mountain peaks, and then integrate the fashion elements of men's clothing.
In 1987, the first LISKAMM mountaineering jacket was born. At that time, it also caused a wave of amazement in the Milan fashion circle. People who loved it called it a moving castle. But the special fabric technology and high price make this mountaineering jacket a veritable concept model.
In 1992, Max Mazza received an enthusiastic response in the men's clothing industry and received many orders. As a result, Max Mazza successively opened image stores in Milan, Florence, Prato, and Perugia. Among them, the image store in Perugia is LISKAMM's outdoor fashion store. Max Mazza uses personal pain to spread the importance of outdoor functions.
In 1994, Max Mazza used LISKAMM as a window to break through the image and added outdoor sports functions to men's clothing. This change made LISKAMM very successful in the aristocratic market, while the high price discouraged the working class.
In 1997, the financial crisis began to spread, and Max Mazza was not immune. Sales dropped sharply, but this did not shake the brand image of Max Mazza. This also freed up a lot of time for Max Mazza. Max Mazza decided to take advantage of this free time to climb the LISKAMM mountain again. It was also the second climb. Max Mazza met Charles from Hong Kong and successfully climbed to the top of LISKAMM. They talked about all aspects of outdoor clothing. Charles had the advanced lamination technology and waterproof fabrics at the time, and Max Mazza had a unique design style. The two hit it off. Max Mazza decided to use 49 shares of LISKAMM to invite Charles to join, but Charles had to bear the production and process issues of LISKAMM.
LISKAMM production shifted to Hong Kong, which reduced a lot of costs for LISKAMM. The unique design and suitable price allowed Max Mazza to reduce losses during the financial crisis.
1998 Max Mazza designed the first one-piece sleeping bag for LISKAMM. As a result, the famous Max Mazza was featured in Corriere della Sera's Corriere della Sera with the title "Bed worn on the body".
In 1999, Charles placed his proofing room in Hangzhou, China. The convenient logistics and generous local policies made Charles make this decision.
In 2000, Charles' KINTEX series fabrics were applied to LISKAMM, which gave LISKAMM a complete fabric system. In the same year, Charles established a production base in Hangzhou.
In 2004, Max Mazza established China's local outdoor sports design agency in Hangzhou, targeting the Chinese market. At the same time, the Zone Brera denim series and the OLYO casual men's wear series were established, and the Max Mazza fashion system grew again.
The financial crisis of Max Mazza in 2006 and the multi-brand operation strategy put great pressure on the production and sales of Max Mazza. Max Mazza, who had poor turnover, decided to transfer the remaining 51 shares of LISKAMM. During the development period, Charles fully received the 51 shares. After owning all the shares of LISKAMM, Charles still gave Max Mazza 20 profit dividends and let Max Mazza continue to serve as LISKAMM's design consultant and be responsible for the European market.
In 2007, the LISKAMM brand was officially incorporated into the Red Group.
At the same time, the LISKAMM design department of Max Mazza Fashion Desige transferred design director An Zhongjing to China as the design director. He has a better understanding of Oriental outdoor clothing, which also marks the official entry of LISKAMM into China. .
In 2009, LISKAMM opened the first online sales platform and began to involve B2C e-commerce. In 2012, four major series of products were launched: urban outdoor series, mountaineering series, skiing series, and motorcycle sports series.
