What's the difference between computer monitor 2k and 1800p?

2K is 2560* 1440. If it is named according to the short side, the real name of 2K should be 1080P.

1800P generally refers to MacBook Pro 15 inch retina screen with a resolution of 2880* 1800 and more than 2K pixels.

Don't be confused by the name.
