Death Eaters (DEATH EATERS) are the title of Voldemort's party members, formerly known as Walpus Knights. They are all supporters and believers of the Dark Lord. There are also some who are forced to be helpless or spies. Such as Peter Pettigrew, Draco Malfoy, and the spy is Professor Snape.
The first time this term appeared was in "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire", where the escaped Death Eaters tortured Muggles crazily at the Quidditch World Cup, which was terrifying. They are all branded with the Dark Mark on their bodies (left arms) and are proficient in dark magic (some taught by the Dark Lord ). When the Dark Lord touches the Dark Mark on one of the Death Eaters, the Dark Mark on the other Death Eaters will also be felt.
