The cause of 7 deaths caused by the fire in Dezhou cake shop in Shandong Province was found out. What happened?

On February 16, a fire broke out in Fukang Bakery in Yujin Community of Yucheng City. After being put out by Dezhou Fire Rescue Detachment, 8 trapped people were rescued, 7 of them died after being rescued, 1 is still alive. Through on-site inspection, investigation and video analysis, it is determined that the fire started from the wall-hung shrine above the column on the west side of the north gate on the first floor of Fukang cake shop. The fire was caused by the burning of the shrine and the surrounding combustible materials by yellow oil drum candles. It is reported that during the Spring Festival holiday, 452 fires were caused by careless use of fire in Shandong Province, of which 270 were caused by offering sacrifices to gods and ancestors.

During the Spring Festival holiday, fires are high, partly because many families set off fireworks to celebrate the festival, and many families inadvertently caused fires because of ancestor worship. Therefore, in our daily life, we must improve our awareness of safety precautions and eliminate potential safety hazards regularly, so as to effectively avoid accidental fires and protect our personal safety and property safety. I hope more citizens can learn from this fire accident.

In case of fire, you must keep calm and protect your life first. If it is a small fire, such as a fire in the pot, we can cover it directly with the lid, and never pour water directly into the pot. If the power supply is short-circuited, we can directly cut off the power first and then put out the fire. Be sure to keep calm during the fire fighting, never be in a hurry, and never use improper methods. Not only will it not be put out, but it will cause a bigger fire.

In case of fire, we must escape in time. We can't be lucky if the fire has spread. We must leave the fire scene in time and cover our nose and mouth with wet cloth to avoid poisoning by inhaling a lot of smoke. When we leave, we must shout for help around. If you live in a high-rise building, you must not take the elevator, but evacuate through the emergency passage. When we escape, we must pay attention to what is under our feet. We must not trip and have a stampede accident.
