Among all flowers, he is especially fond of peonies. He has planted many flowers, grasses and peonies in front of and behind his yard. However, precisely because he grew flowers so well, he was often attacked by naughty boys. He was very angry, and every time he caught anyone, he would be fined with a long period of hard work, or punished with a few slaps on the board. Therefore, the local naughty boys nicknamed him "Evil Liu". This gradually spread, and over time it replaced his name and became a "famous name"

The legend of "Purse Peony"

In ancient times, 200 miles southeast of Luoyang City, there was There is a state called Ruzhou, and there is a small town in the west of the state called Miaoxia. It is surrounded by mountains and has pleasant scenery. There is also a wonderful custom: once a young man and a young man get engaged, the woman must personally send a gift to the man. The meaning of the purse embroidered with mandarin ducks is self-evident. If it is a baby bride, the bride's sister-in-law or the eldest sisters in the neighborhood will embroider one on her behalf as a lifelong token.

There lived a beautiful girl named Jade Girl in her eighteenth year. She was ingenious, intelligent and skilled in embroidery and weaving. She often embroidered various floral patterns on her purses. The provocation of the bees and butterflies shows that she has a lot of skills.

For such a good girl, she was able to overcome the threshold of marriage proposals, but she was politely rejected by her family. It turned out that the girl had a man she fell in love with. , the family also acquiesced. Unfortunately, the young man has been exiled outside the Great Wall for two years, and there is no news, and he has never received the purse. , and hung them one by one on the peony branches in front of the window. Over time, the purses formed a string and became what people call the "purse peony".

The legend of "dead branch peony". /p>

At the end of the Northern Song Dynasty, the Jin soldiers invaded the Central Plains. A general named Bian led his troops to pass through Luoyang. It was the middle of winter, and he saw a desolate scene of withered grass and withered trees.

The general. He was eager to urge his horse on the journey, but his whip broke, so he left a dead branch on the roadside and rode eastward.

After several battles, one day he led his troops to Biancang Town, Yancheng, Jiangsu Province. The general was tired and needed a rest. He dismounted his horse, looked around, and inserted a dead branch into the ground to make his troops set up camp...

In the spring of the following year, the dead branch inserted into the ground unexpectedly happened. The buds were pulled out and new leaves appeared. After the Grain Rain, bright and beautiful flowers magically bloomed. When local people heard about this, they came from hundreds of miles around to watch the flowers and burn incense. Knowing that it is a peony, people rush to tell each other: "There is hope for the Song Dynasty, there is hope for the Song Dynasty." "And called this peony "Withered Branch Peony". Later, local people donated money to build a platform and built the "Withered Branch Peony Garden", in which this peony was enshrined.

The legend of Liu Shige"

At the end of the Sui Dynasty, in the east of Miaoxia Town in Ruzhou, Henan, there was a place where the Liu family lived - Liujiaguan. There is a beautiful and innocent girl here, who was born into a scholarly family. She has mastered all kinds of music, chess, calligraphy and painting since she was a child, and is loved by her neighbors. Later, her parents passed away one after another, and the girl came to Chang'an to settle down with her brother and sister-in-law, who was an official in Chang'an. After the fall of the Sui Dynasty, her brother and sister-in-law died one after another, leaving her alone with nowhere to go. She also saw through the world of mortals and became a nun.

When she became a monk, the girl brought the white peonies she had planted in her yard to the nunnery as a sign of devotion to Buddhism and purity of mind. Under her careful management, the white peonies grew very lush and beautiful. One plant has thousands of flowers, the flowers are as large as a foot, with double petals rising from the sky. They are white with a slight blush, crystal clear and moist, like the skin of a beauty or the jade face of a boy. Viewers all praise its beauty and praise its goodness, so every April, many believers come to this nunnery to worship the Buddha and view the flowers. They also enjoy offering flowers to the Buddha, and the incense becomes more and more prosperous.

So the flower comes from "Your Excellency Liu Shiju", so it is called "Liu Shige", also called "Liu Shige". Later, this peony variety was spread to Tianpeng, Sichuan Province, Heze, Shandong Province, etc., and its fragrance spread far and wide.

The legend of "Ten Thousand Volumes of Books"

In the Ming Dynasty, there was a scholar named Ouyang Boyun in Bozhou, Anhui Province.

He was originally born in a family of officials. Later, due to the decline of his family's circumstances, he gradually declined and became very poor. However, the scholar was unwilling to accept the arrangement of his fate, and he was not willing to rely on others. He was determined to obtain "fame" and glorify his ancestors, but he failed to pass the examination year after year. A kind-hearted gentleman told him: "The young man's basic skills are too poor. He still needs to read thousands of books before he can be inspired by the gods of heaven and earth."

So he kept copying books and practicing essays all day long. But my family was poor and paper was too expensive, so I had to copy articles on the walls and door panels. One day he felt tired in the room, so he went to the backyard to relax. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the peony bush in the backyard that had not bloomed for many years. It was full of flowers and leaves. So suddenly on a whim, I went back indoors, got a pen and inkstone, and copied the article on the peony petals, using flowers instead of paper. The kind gentleman passed by and saw this scene, and called the peony "ten thousand volumes of books". This may have moved the "Flower God". The next year, Ouyang Boyun really won the "Jiu Ren".

Hundreds of birds pay homage to the phoenix

A long time ago, the phoenix was just a very inconspicuous bird with ordinary feathers, not as dazzling as the legend. But it has an advantage: it is very hard-working. It does not just play when it is full like other birds. Instead, it is busy from morning to night, picking up the fruits that other birds throw away one by one. Collected in a cave.

What does this mean? Isn’t this a money-obsessed person, a big fool? Don't underestimate this behavior of storing food. When the time comes, it will be of great use!

Sure enough, one year, there was a severe drought in the forest. The birds couldn't find food, they were so hungry that they were dizzy and couldn't hold on any longer. At this time, Phoenix hurriedly opened the cave, took out the dried fruits and grass seeds he had accumulated over the years, and distributed them to everyone, so as to tide over the difficulties with everyone.

After the drought, in order to thank the Phoenix for saving their lives, the birds chose the most beautiful feathers from their own bodies and plucked them out, making a dazzling bird's clothing for the Phoenix. , and unanimously elected it as the bird king.

From now on, every time the Phoenix celebrates its birthday, birds from all directions will fly to express their congratulations to the Phoenix. This is called a hundred birds paying homage to the Phoenix.

Beixinqiao

There is a place in Beijing called Beixinqiao. The name is Qiao, but in fact there is no bridge, let alone bridge wings. There is a folklore here.

It is said that after Gao Liang shot through the water basket transformed by the dragon girl, the dragon mother took her injured daughter and fled to the Black Dragon Pond in the north of the mountain, where she settled down and settled her family business. Now, there is a small fish in the Black Dragon Pool that can hit stones. According to legend, this is the "dragon species" and the descendant of Long Po. After Gao Liang broke through the water basket, Duke Long was so anxious that he chased Gao Liang with huge waves of water. After Gao Liang died, the water returned to its original state. But Mr. Long couldn't swallow this breath, but he couldn't afford to offend Liu Bowen, so he took Long Zi and Long Zi's belly of sweet water and went underground along the Yuquan Mountain Spring. This is why the spring water in Yuquan Mountain is so abundant and sweet. Duke Long thought to himself: Liu Bowen, Liu Bowen! I can't afford to offend you, so let's just forget it? Cheng, there will be a time when you finish your cultivation. After you finish your cultivation, Liu Bowen is gone, and then it’s time to listen to my old dragon! Therefore, Long Gong and Long Zi endured it in the spring underground.

It took two days, one month and two years, one and two years, and the Eight-Armed Nachi City in Beijing was finally completed. Liu Bowen was about to go back to see the emperor for business, when he suddenly remembered the troublesome evil dragon. He thought: This abominable evil dragon can't be saved. He will come to cause trouble again after I leave! Alas, it would be great if Yao Guangxiao was here to take charge, but what would happen if he became a monk?

So Liu Bowen had to go to Yao Guangxiao first. On this day, Liu Bowen found Yao Guangxiao in a temple outside the southwest city. After expressing his intention to come, Liu Bowen said: "The eight-armed Nezha City map was painted by two of us. When I went back to hand over the work, I said that the city of Beijing It was built by the two of us, and you are still the master of the Second Army." Yao Guangxiao was very happy after hearing this and agreed. So, Liu Bowen packed his luggage, took his entourage, and left Beijing to meet the emperor for business.

When Duke Long heard that Liu Bowen was gone, he took Long Zi and walked along the underground waterway to Beijing.

Except for Cao Guojiu, who did not return, all the others returned disappointed.

Uncle Cao Guo worked tirelessly, riding in the clouds and mist, to the mainland. A strange fragrance hit his nostrils, and he didn't realize it was three feet tall. He immediately went to a village in the world to find the fragrance, and disguised himself as a farmer. Peering into the house, I saw eight people sitting around a square table, playing guessing games, drinking freely, and tempting dishes being served one after another. The uncle thought: I am the uncle of the imperial court. I am tired of the palace dishes. I have never seen farm dishes. Why not let me have a feast first? Suddenly I thought that all the immortal friends were hungry and I could not enjoy them all, so I started to eat them. After ordering seven dishes, he remembered that the immortal aunt did not eat meat, so he brought a vegetarian dish, green vegetables and tofu, for eight large bowls. He also left a message: The uncle borrowed eight bowls of vegetables for the immortals, and he will definitely repay them in the future.

The Eight Immortals devoured the food and found it extremely delicious. After having had enough wine and food, their energy doubled, and they fought against the Dragon King again and won a complete victory.

Afterwards, people changed the square table to the Eight Immortals table in order to seek good fortune, seated eight guests, and ate eight dishes (eight cold dishes, eight large bowls of dishes), which has been passed down to this day.

The origin of "lion head"

"Lion head" means big meatballs in Yangzhou dialect, and "big meatballs" or "Sixi meatballs" in northern dialect. It is said that its "distant ancestor" is "Tiao Wan Zhi" recorded in the "Shi Jing" of the Southern and Northern Dynasties (see "Qi Min Yao Shu. Zhi Method 80"). Historical records record that when Emperor Yang of the Sui Dynasty, accompanied by his concubines, rode a dragon boat and thousands of ships south along the Grand Canal, "all the prefectures and counties he passed within five hundred miles were ordered to offer food. From one prefecture to hundreds of villages, there were extremely rare treasures on land and water." "("Zi Zhi Tong Jian"). Yang Guang saw the Qionghua in Yangzhou and was particularly nostalgic for the four famous scenic spots in Yangzhou: Wansong Mountain, Qianqian Dun, Ivory Forest and Sunflower Hill. After returning to the palace, he ordered the imperial chef to prepare four dishes based on the above four scenes. Under the guidance of Yangzhou famous chefs, the imperial chefs worked hard to finally make four dishes: squirrel mandarin fish, money shrimp cakes, elephant bud chicken strips and sunflower chopped meat. After Yang Guang tasted it, he was very happy, so he gave a banquet to all the ministers. For a time, Huaiyang cuisine was popular among the court and the public.

In the Tang Dynasty, with the economic prosperity, officials and dignitaries also paid more attention to their diet. Once, Duke Wei Zhi of the State of Xi hosted a banquet for guests. The famous chef Wei Juyuan also cooked these four famous dishes from Yangzhou, accompanied by delicacies from mountains and seas, and rare delicacies from land and water, which amazed the guests. When the dish "Sunflower Chopped Pork" was served, the sunflower heart made of huge meat dumplings was exquisite, like a lion's head. The guests took the opportunity to persuade the guests to drink: "The Duke of Xi has spent half his life in the army and has made brilliant military achievements. He should wear the lion seal." Wei Zhi happily raised his wine glass and drank it down in one gulp. "Lion's head." As soon as Bainuo was called, "lion's head" became a famous dish in Yangzhou.

In the Qing Dynasty, when Qianlong went to the south of the Yangtze River, he brought this delicacy to Kyoto and made it one of the Qing palace dishes. During the Jiaqing period, Lin Lanchi from Ganquan also sang about Yangzhou's "Sunflower Meatballs" in "Three Songs of Hanjiang". The preface says: "The meat is finely chopped and coarsely chopped into balls, and fried in meat and vegetable oil until it becomes sunflower yellow, which is commonly known as sunflower meatballs." His poem goes: "The guest chef has cut it frequently, and the sunflower balls are made fresh. A full stomach should also be used Thinking about the sun, they will eat everyone."

The beginning of chaos

In the ancient times when Ymir was alive,

there was no sand or sea, no rough waves. ;

There is no earth or sky in the world.

There is only the gaping gap with no grass.

—"Sibyl Prophecy"

A long time ago, in the prehistoric era, the world was in chaos, with no sand, no sea, no sky and no earth. In the middle of this chaos, there is only a deep, huge chasm called the Jin-Enga Chasm. The entire chasm was empty and void, with no trees or weeds.

To the north of the Jin Enga Divide is Niflheim, a vast world of ice and snow. There, thick fog covers thousands of years of ice and snow all year round, making it very cold and dark. A huge spring gushes out from the deepest and darkest place in Niflheim, forming many endless streams; these streams carry the cold air of the ice and snow world for thousands of years, and some of them contain extremely poisonous substances. Running north and south towards the Jin-Enga Chasm.

When the stream merged into the chasm, the rushing rapids suddenly fell into the extremely deep bottom of the chasm, making a roar as loud as thunder. At the same time, countless ice chunks from Niflheim were carried by streams. Over millions of years, many ice mounds slowly accumulated next to the Kinnga Gap.

In the south of the Jin Enga Divide, there is a country of fire called Mosbyheim, where flames shoot into the sky all year round, and the entire place is filled with extremely intense light and heat. A huge creature named Suter, holding a sword of light, was guarding the Fire Kingdom's Mosbyheim.

The soaring flames shot out from the Flame Kingdom splashed out many extremely hot sparks, which fell on both sides of the Jin-Enga Chasm, and also fell on the ice hills piled next to the chasm. The ice melted into water vapor when it encountered the hot Mars, and was frozen again by the strong cold wind blowing from Niflheim. The cycle repeats like this. Over thousands of years, under the constant influence of the heat waves of the Fire Kingdom and the cold air of the Ice and Snow Kingdom, these ice mounds slowly gave birth to life. In this way, the giant creature Ymir was born.

In the endless darkness and diffuse fog, Ymir with a huge body wanders in the chaotic world, looking for food. Much later, he met Odumbula, a cow who was also born on an ice hill under the influence of heat waves and cold air. The huge cow had four streams of milk flowing out from under her body, forming four endless white rivers. Therefore, the huge Ymir feeds on the milk of Odumbra, while the cows make a living by licking the ice and snow, especially the occasional salt frost on the ice. In the prehistoric era of chaos, darkness, ice and snow, only two such huge creatures existed.

Countless years later, Ymir, who drank milk all day long, became very strong. Once, when he finished drinking milk and fell asleep, two giants, a man and a woman, suddenly grew from under his arms. Then, one of his sons also grew out from under his feet. The pair of giants born from under his arms later became a couple and gave birth to many giant descendants. Among their many children, one of them, Mimir, was an extremely wise giant. From Ymir's feet was born an evil giant with six heads, who later had many descendants. But most of his descendants are huge, stupid giants, some have many heads, and some are beasts. Ymir, the ancestor of the giants, himself gave birth to other giants since then. All giants from Ymir are called frost giants. They are the masters of the giant world, destroyers of world order and enemies of the gods.

The cow Odumbula licks the ice and snow day and night, constantly looking for salt and frost. One day, when it was licking some salt grains on the stone, some hair suddenly licked out from under its tongue. It continued to lick, and on the second day, a complete head appeared; on the third day, it licked out a living human form. Thus was born Bree, the ancestor of the gods. Bree is a tall, handsome man, strong and gentle. He soon gave birth to a son Bor who was also tall and majestic.

When Bor grew up, he married the giantess Bestela. Bestela is the daughter of the pair of giants who grew out from under Ymir's arms, and is also the sister of the wise giant Mimir. Bor and Bestela soon gave birth to three sons, Odin, Willi and Vi. There are no words in the world to describe their tallness and majesty. They are three great gods and will be the masters of all worlds.

Bor's sons gradually grew up and became stronger and stronger. At the same time, they were no longer satisfied with living in such a dark, cold and chaotic world. After some planning, the three gods Odin, Willi and Wei launched an attack on Ymir, the ruler of the prehistoric world and the ancestor of the giants, and finally succeeded in killing this behemoth. However, when Ymir collapsed, an endless amount of blood flowed from his wounds, forming a huge river of blood. This river of blood eventually caused the first flood in the prehistoric world, drowning the frost giants living around Ymir.

Among them, only a giant named Begelmi and his wife sat in a small boat similar to a stone mortar and escaped from the flood with great difficulty. Therefore, when Odin, the Lord of the Gods, thought about the past years, he said:

"Before the creation of the earth,

during the endless winter,

The giant Bergmi was born;

The first thing I can remember is,

that alert giant,

how to hide safely into his ark.”

After escaping the great tribulation, they gave birth to many offspring. The frost giant family began to multiply from Begelmi again.

The creation of heaven, earth and man

Then, in the midst of the beautiful heaven and earth,

Boer’s sons built rivers and mountains;

The sun shines from the south onto their palace walls,

On the earth, green leeks begin to sprout.

—"Sibyl Prophecy"

After killing the huge giant Ymir, the ancestors of the three gods Odin, Willy and Wei began to plan to create a comfortable and beautiful world.

The three earliest gods were thinking hard about how to create the world in a dark and cold world, and they were constantly looking for materials for creation. However, there was nothing but ice and snow in front of them, and the powerful gods tried their best to do so. Finally one day, Odin shouted in front of Ymir's huge rotting corpse:

"Use Ymir's corpse to make materials for the new world!"

The other two The gods also felt enlightened and praised Odin for his good idea. So, the gods worked together to dismember Ymir's huge body. They placed Ymir's body in the middle of the Jin-Enga gap, and the body that filled the gap became the earth. The gods used his blood to create oceans and lakes, his bones to create hills and mountains, his teeth and fragments of jaw bones to create cliffs and pebbles, and his hair and beard to create trees and grass.

After the earth was formed, the gods threw Ymir's head on it to form the sky, and threw his brains into the sky to form clouds. In order to prevent the sky from falling from above, the gods sent four dwarfs to the four corners of the sky, southeast and northwest, and used their shoulders to support the four corners of the sky. These four dwarfs carrying the sky are named East, South, West and North respectively.

After creating the earth and the sky, Odin, Willy and Wei collected many sparks from the Fire Kingdom in the south and scattered them into the sky at will. These sparks stayed in the sky and became stars all over the sky, lighting up the whole world.

Long before the gods thought of using Ymir's corpse to create the world, many maggots emerged from Ymir's rotting flesh. These maggots robbed the essence of the ancestors of the giants, and they were actually spiritual creatures. Under the judgment of Odin and other gods, they all had human-like bodies and intelligence. The maggots that grew from the light side of the corpse became elves or light elves, and the maggots that grew from the backlit side of the corpse became dark elves. People generally called them dwarfs. The four dwarves in the southeast, northwest, and southeast that support the sky grew out of Ymir's corpse.

The elves are all bright and dazzling, and they are very beautiful. They are usually gentle, cheerful and enthusiastic, and can communicate with trees, flowers, plants, fish and birds, so the gods regard them as their friends. They also often help the gods manage the world, especially matters such as the sun, moon and stars.

Although dwarfs are the same thing as elves, their appearance and temperament are completely opposite. They were short and ugly, black as pitch, greedy for money, lustful, cunning and prone to lying.

When the world began to take shape, the ancestors of the gods began to think about creating a perfect creature that could live in the rich and fertile land. The three gods often walked between heaven and earth with this question in mind, observing their achievements in creating heaven and earth. One day, when Odin, Willy and Vee were walking on the beach, the waves washed up two pieces of wood, one was an ash tree and the other was an elm tree.

After the gods picked them up, they felt that they could be used as materials for the creation of humans, so they began to carve them into two human shapes with knives. Due to the careful carving by the gods, the piece of wood took on the lifelike shape of a man, while the elm wood took on the shape of a woman.

Once the trees took shape, three gods breathed life into them.

Odin first held the human form in his hands and gave them life and breath;

Willy then gave them soul and wisdom;

Finally , Wei gave them the feeling of body temperature and facial features. Humanity was born.

According to their origins, the ancestors of the gods named the man Aske (meaning (ash) tree) and the woman named Epola (meaning elm tree). The gods let the ancestors of mankind live on the land surrounded by the sea, let them get married and have children. Starting from Ask and Epola, human beings have multiplied on the earth from generation to generation, and have continued to this day.

While creating human beings and placing them on the earth, the ancestors of God also designated a residence for God on the earth, in the center of the entire universe, as the Kingdom of God. Because of their beauty and gentleness, the luminous elves were able to live next to the gods and built an exquisite elven kingdom around the kingdom of gods.

On the east side of the earth where humans live, the gods set aside a place to allow the giants to live. The giant Begelmi who escaped from the flood lived in this giant country called Jotunheim, and spawned many frost giants.

Because of their poor character, the gods punished the black dwarfs to live under the earth, and they must not be exposed to the light of day, otherwise they will turn into stone or melt. For this reason, the short dwarfs dug holes under the soil or in rocks as nests, forming a country of black elves, or dwarfs.

The wise giant Mimir has a beautiful, dark-skinned daughter, her name is Night. At night, she often rides her steed, galloping in the sky with twinkling stars. Later, Beautiful Night fell in love with Deling, the dawn elf who controlled light in the Elf Kingdom, and they gave birth to a son who was as handsome and dazzling as his father, named Bai Tian.

From then on, when the red light of morning shines on the earth and the sea, the elves called the awakeners will sing the song of the morning outside the palace wall of the dawn elf Deling. During the day, the son immediately mounted his horse amid the singing and galloped towards the boundless sky. At the same time, his mother returned to the palace to rest tiredly after a long night of driving.

In the kingdom of giants, there was a giant who had a son and a daughter. They were handsome, beautiful and dazzling, and they were called the moon and the sun respectively. The proud giant often praised other creatures for how outstanding his children were, which attracted the attention of the gods. Later, the gods took these two beautiful children away from the giant kingdom and gave them two horses and a large carriage respectively, so that they could patrol the sky day and night.

From then on, the girl called the sun shined with golden light, and during the day, the boy called the moon shined with silver light, and continued to run in the sky at night.

Two ferocious wolves were chasing the sun and the moon respectively, trying to devour them with salivation. They kept roaring at the sun and moon, following closely behind them. However, Yavik and Elvis, who are driven by the sun, are two incomparable divine horses. Their manes shimmer with golden light, dragging the sun chariot studded with gems forward at extremely fast speeds. Therefore, the sun can always escape the pursuit of the wolf.

When the golden sun passed over the western horizon, she arrived at the palace of the dusk elf Billing. After a day of running, the tired Sun rested on the luxurious bed arranged for her by Billing. Billing's servants held lit candles and torches around her bed to guard her. When the morning light appears on the horizon again, the sun will once again step onto her carriage and drive the horse galloping across the sky.

When the sun boarded the car and set off, the moon drove back to the Dusk Palace in Billing. As the moon rested on his luxurious bed, a group of sleeping elves snoozed around him.

In this way, human beings on the earth have the distinction between day and night, as well as the warmth of the sun and the warmth of the moonlight.

Cosmic Tree Yugatrasi

I tell you about the giants of the oblivion era,

The giants who have fed me in the past years;

I calculated nine worlds, that majestic ash tree,

nine huge roots running underground.

——"Sibyl Prophecy"

In the center of everything, the center of the universe, stands an incomparably majestic big (ash) tree called eucalyptus Trahi. This huge tree is the origin and carrier of all things in the universe②. It is full of vitality and its dense branches and leaves cover the entire world.

Three huge tree roots support the cosmic tree Yugatrasi, making it stand erect. These three roots lead respectively to the Kingdom of God, the Kingdom of Giants, and the ice world of Niflheim. At the ends of these tree roots, there are three springs that provide water for the Cosmic Tree.

The spring in Niflheim in the far north is called Hevegelma. In a land of ice and snow, the spring water is bone-chillingly cold and the cold mist is steaming. A ferocious poisonous dragon Nithogg is entrenched there, biting the huge tree roots that extend into the spring day and night. The poisonous dragon was born as a demon and attempted to eventually bite off the giant root of the cosmic tree and destroy the world.

Jotunheim, where the Kingdom of Giants is located, is the same place as the human land. It was originally the place where the Jin-Enga Gap was located. Here, the spring connected to the giant root of the Cosmic Tree is guarded by the wise giant Mimir, so this spring is called Mimir Spring. Mimir is the son of the pair of giants born from the arms of Ymir, the ancestor of the giants. He has been extremely smart since he was a child. While he was guarding the spring, he had become an old giant.

The spring water of Mimir Spring is full of knowledge and wisdom. The knowledge about the whole world and everything that happens in the nine worlds is melted in this clear and transparent spring water. Therefore, no matter who it is, whether it is gods, elves, giants, dwarfs or humans, as long as they drink the water from Mimir Spring, they will become both knowledgeable and wise.

However, the old giant Mimir kept guarding the spring and did not let any gods or giants get closer. Between heaven and earth, no living being has ever been able to take a sip of Mimir's spring water, except for the old giant himself. Every evening, when the gorgeous sunset illuminates the spring surface in a picturesque way, Old Mimir will use an exquisite horn cup to drink a cup of spring water of knowledge and wisdom, and enjoy it slowly. As time goes by, giant
