Why is Shuangya Mountain called Shuangya Mountain?

There is a myth and legend, there are many versions of this, I will send you one of them

Everyone knows that Shuangya Mountain is a pearl on the border of the motherland. It is a city that is always glowing with light and heat. Do you know the origin of its name? Speaking of which, there is a beautiful and touching story here!

It is said that a long time ago, the birds in the sky could not bear the cold and loneliness of the heavenly palace, so they met together and flew secretly to the lower world. As the saying goes, "The phoenix does not rest on a parasol tree," and the bird in the sky certainly does not rest on a precious land. The sky crane flies to the precious land of Hegang, and the sky rooster stops in the precious land of Jixi. Only Tianya and his wife had not found the treasure land yet. They flew and flew. One day they flew to the Anbang River. Seeing that the water here was like jade and the mountains were like black, white clouds were rising in the sky, and the mountains were shrouded in purple mist, so they folded their wings and landed. Take a look, you will see luxuriant vegetation, bright flowers, gurgling water, and abundant fish and shrimps. It is indeed a treasure land. Satisfied, the Tianya couple were so happy that they forgot to return to the Heavenly Palace. From then on, they settled down in this quiet and fertile place and reproduced their offspring without any worries. It was true at that time: the flowers bloomed and the water flowed without owners, and the birds sang and the fish leaped in love!

It is said to be a treasure land, but not only the scenery is beautiful, here, there is also light and heat stored underground, and there are hidden treasures! There is a hill nearby with beautiful peaks and lush trees. Because there is a square platform on the top of the mountain, people call it Sifangtai Mountain. It’s not surprising that white clouds and clear water complement each other, and green hills and green shadows are intertwined with each other. What’s strange is that every night, the platform on the top of the mountain emits a ray of light, like a giant wax burning towards the sky. , it shines for tens of miles from a distance, and every detail is visible in the near distance. The roe deer and elk cannot graze at night, and the oriole and lark cannot forage at night. Tianniao often come here to gather. Princess Tianya, the daughter of the Tianya couple, often comes here with her female companions to practice martial arts or trace dragons and phoenixes. Princess Tianya said that this is a treasure candle, connected with the earth's energy, and it is the door to the underground treasure house. We must protect it!

Wherever there are immortals, there are demons. There is a Seven-Star Bubble in the southeast of Sifangtai Mountain. There lives a thousand-year-old dragon in the bubble. Because it lives deep under the water, it always wants to find something to illuminate. One day while traveling at night, I saw a precious candle shining brightly on Sifangtai Mountain, with several beautiful girls sitting below doing embroidery. I suddenly wanted to rob him, and suddenly I transformed into a man who looked like a yaksha, and shouted loudly. "Whoever dares to take advantage of the light of my precious candle is seeking death!" She stepped forward and stretched out her hairy hands to hold the precious candle. When Princess Tianya saw this evil monster, she was so angry that her eyebrows stood up, her almond-shaped eyes widened, and she shouted sternly. He said: "Where does this monster come from that dares to steal everyone's precious candle~" and then he got into hands with this dragon monster. The female companions also quickly held up their hands and tightly surrounded Bao Zhu. Princess Tian Ya fought with the dragon monster on the ground and in the sky for two hours. In the end, because the flowers and willows were weak, the princess was already dripping with sweat and her footwork was messy. She accidentally missed and was hit in the back by the monster's palm. She spit out a mouthful of blood. He fell to the ground, and all the girls went to save Princess Tianya. The dragon monster took the opportunity to carry the treasure candle. At this moment, a young man holding a medicine shovel suddenly rushed out from the side. With one shovel, he hit the monster in the thigh. The monster screamed, dropped the candle, and ran away.

It turns out that this young man lives at the foot of the mountain. His parents are regular visitors from Shandong who came to Guandong. They make a living here by collecting herbs and digging sticks (ginseng). Because his mother gave birth to him in a mountain stream, she named him Jian Shengzi. Thanks to this precious candle on the mountain, this poor family can make a living at night. That night, Jian Shengzi was helping his parents prepare medicinal materials in the hospital. Suddenly he saw a dark wind rolling on the mountain and a precious candle flickering. Then he heard the sound of fighting. Knowing that there was something strange, he picked up a medicine shovel and ran up the mountain to protect the lamp. Jian Shengzi defeated the dragon monster and saved the treasure lantern. Seeing that a woman was injured, he and his female companions carried her to his home. Jian Shengzi's parents personally prepared medicine to save her, but because the injury was too severe, all medicines were ineffective. . After hearing the news, Tianya and his wife came to see their daughter's face like tin foil and her breath like gossamer. They cried and begged Jian's father to save his daughter. The old man was twirling his silver beard with a sad look on his face, and after a while he said, "Except for the pair of mallets from Yunzhong Peak."

Since Jian Shengzi ate ginseng seeds, he had extraordinary powers. He fought with dragon monsters. He was as agile as a white ape exploring the moon, and as fierce as an eagle hunting rabbits. He even swung his shovel like a stick and whirred. When the wind blows, the dragon monsters will retreat if they can't resist it, and finally disappear into Qixingpao's lair. Jian Shengzi took advantage of his courage to chase the dragon until Qixingpao was looking for a fight with the dragon. Seeing that her husband hadn't come back for a long time, Princess Tianya made her husband's favorite flat food (Shandong people call "dumplings" "flat food") and drove a small boat to deliver the meal to her husband. But when I got there, I couldn't find my husband. I saw the water in the pool churning up and down, like a boiling pot. It was calm for a long time, but a few streaks of bright red blood appeared on the water. Princess Tianya believed that her husband had been killed, so she cried and sailed back, crying and throwing food into the river to pay homage to her husband's spirit. After returning home, she waited day after day, but could not wait for her husband to come. Princess Tianya would not drink or eat, cried day and night, and became ill with depression.

It turns out that Jian Shengzi chased the dragon monsters to the bottom of the bubble, and then started fighting with the dragon monsters up and down in the water. After the fight was so intense, he didn't even bother to go home and eat the monster meat. , thirsty and drink the blood of strange dragons. There was no sun or moon in the water, and they fought for seven or forty-nine days before finally slaying all the underwater dragon monsters and rushing home with blood all over their bodies. When they saw it, their wife, Princess Tianya, had already passed away. Jian Shengzi was so sad that he built a tall steamed bun-shaped stone tomb at the foot of Sifangtai Mountain to bury his wife, so that his wife's fragrant soul under the spring would forever guard this precious candle - this is the Mantou Mountain we see today; Jian Shengzi Then he went to comfort the Tianya couple. Unexpectedly, the Tianya couple sadly lost their daughter and turned into two duck-shaped peaks. Looking at their daughter's grave, they guarded this underground treasure - this is today's Shuangya Mountain, which is famous at home and abroad. Where is the child born in Jian? It also turned into a straight mountain peak, high and steep, like a warrior guarding this treasured land forever. This is what people today call "Jianshanzi". Mayingjian Mountain in the southern suburbs of Shuangyashan City is the saddle that Jian gave birth to his son in those days; Sifangtai Mountain is still lush with trees, and the Qixing River flows at the foot of the mountain. The river where Princess Tianya brought food to her husband is still called Bianshi River today! And I am one of those Bianshis, now guarding the Bianshi River, so I am called the Bianshi River Monster. The people of Shuangyashan have been inseparable from Tianya since ancient times, and have an inseparable friendship of flesh and blood. No wonder people named this beautiful city after "Shuangyashan".
