The music and dance in Dunhuang murals are divided into two categories: heavenly music and secular music. Tianle, also known as Xianle, mainly expresses the image of "Beauty of Heaven", "Blissful World" and "God". The dance postures in Tianle are divided into the following two types:
1. Tiangong Music. The dancer appears in the heavenly world and makes the Buddha happy.
2. Flying. Also known as the Xiangyin God, he is a god who brings happiness and joy to people.
3. Dunhuang ancient dances are rich in content, including Ji Letian dance, long silk dance, rebound pipa dance, solo dance, duet dance, flying dance, lotus boy dance, etc. The movements are divided into soft dance and vigorous dance. The dancers in the soft dance have a gentle and charming look, and their waists and arms are soft and beautiful; the dancers in the vigorous dance are strong and powerful, and their expressions are unrestrained. Dunhuang dance reflects the social style of that era and is the crystallization of ancient art.
