Narration of peony bark
The origin of the name of Guodan Peony: In Qing Dynasty, there was a court writer named Gao Shiqi who participated in the expedition of Emperor Kangxi to pacify galdan. In the thirty-sixth year of Kangxi, that is, 1697, Gao Shiqi wrote a seven-character rhythmic poem named "Guo Dan" on the way to accompany Kangxi to Du Fu's poems in Ningxia. The poem said: The red color is transparent, the oil is thin, smooth and light, and the powder and wax are even. When the grass strikes, the art of war is still unfinished and the mouth is exhausted. Gao Shiqi wrote down the hawthorn under the fruit list and boiled the pulp, which was as thin as paper, even and neat, and rolled up comfortably. The color is red, hence the name fruit list.
