Because after Sun Wukong put on the golden hoop, he looked very similar to a practitioner with hair, so Tang Monk called him a practitioner.
Similarly, Wu Song in Water Margin is also dressed as a traveler. Therefore, Wu Song's nickname is "Wusong the Walker". Look at these two travelers, do they look a little similar?
