Where is beeswax produced?

The places where beeswax is produced are mainly concentrated in 9 countries around the Baltic Sea coast.

Burma, Dominica, Mexico and other places mainly produce amber, with relatively little beeswax.

Colombia, Indonesia, and New Zealand produce copal resin, which has the same physical and chemical properties as amber and beeswax, but the resin is not beeswax amber. However, market merchants pretend to sell amber and beeswax.

There are some old beeswaxes in the market that come from Arab countries. Those are antique beeswaxes and are not produced there. It was played with, worn, and used in Arab countries for decades or hundreds of years after it was produced.

Taiwan makes some beeswax, named "Middle Eastern beeswax" and "noble beeswax". They come in various colors and are very beautiful, but they are actually plastic products.

Fushun, China, also produced amber in the past, but now it basically doesn’t.
