Did Zhu Yuanzhang name North Korea?

It was named by Zhu Yuanzhang. The following story is the origin of North Korea's name, which comes from Those Things in the Ming Dynasty. Thanks to the bright moon that year.

Li Chenggui led the army back to his hometown, deposed the old king Xinyu, and established his own dynasty, the famous Lee Dynasty.

In order to win the support of the Ming Dynasty, Li Chenggui sent envoys to surrender to the Ming Dynasty, and he presented his credentials to Zhu Yuanzhang, bringing new people and a new atmosphere. Li Chenggui abolished the title of Korea, and this new dynasty needs a new name.

This solemn mission fell on Zhu Yuanzhang. After careful consideration, he took the meaning of "the bright country of Asahi" and decided a new name for this dynasty-North Korea.

Seeing the defeat of the Yuan Dynasty, Zhuan Wang, the king of the Koryo Dynasty, broke off the relationship with the Yuan Dynasty and was chased by the Ming Dynasty, taking the opportunity to get rid of the slavery of the Yuan Dynasty. However, things are always full of twists and turns. Many people in the Korean dynasty were relatives of the rulers of the Yuan Dynasty. They naturally don't want to be controlled by the Ming Dynasty. So pro-yuan and pro-Ming forces fought for more than ten years.

Zhuan Wang's ten-year-old adopted son Jiangning Junxinyu inherited the throne. The king was inclined to the Northern Yuan Dynasty, but in order not to offend the Ming Dynasty, he also sent envoys to ask for posthumous title's seal for his father (posthumous title of the King of Korea was confirmed by the Ming Dynasty according to the rules). Originally, things went well. The Ming Dynasty sent special envoys Lin Mi and Cai Bin to North Korea. However, they were robbed on their way back from Korea. They were not only robbed of their property, but also killed.

Supposedly, it may not be done by Koryo, because doing these jobs on your own site is equivalent to writing down the name of the murderer at the scene of the murder, which is too ostentatious. I'm afraid it was someone from Beiyuan.

But is Zhu Yuanzhang easy to offend? How did the plot fall on him? He flew into a rage and took back posthumous title of Zhuan Wang, and said that he would never recognize Xinyu's status as king. Han was also covered in bitter water, but he couldn't pour it out. He had to turn to Beiyuan for help and won the title of King Han and Prime Minister Zuo of the Eastern Province.

At this point, the Ming dynasty broke with the kingdom of Korea, and both sides showed their weapons. Seeing that a big war is about to start again, although the sword is not negotiable, the person with the sword can discuss it.

The king of Korea decided to do it. In the twenty years of Hongwu (1387), Sheng Feng and Lan Yu led the army to defeat Nabachu and took control of Liaodong, and set up the commander of Tieling Guards in Liaodong to control this sensitive area, because Tieling was the border between the Yuan Dynasty and North Korea in the Yuan Dynasty. North Korea has always wanted to occupy this buffer zone, and the military actions of the Ming Dynasty undoubtedly disrupted the wishful thinking of the Korean dynasty.

After all, South Korean King Xin Qiji lacked political experience and went to Zhu Yuanzhang to ask for Tieling's territory. This request made Zhu Yuanzhang feel ridiculous. He fought for decades for several plots of land. This young son of heaven is whimsical and wants to find Zhu Yuanzhang who is unwilling to pay more.

As a result, it is conceivable that Zhu Yuanzhang sternly rejected the envoy, and the king of Korea was really soft-blooded. In the 21st year of Hongwu (1388), it was ordered to mobilize various armies to conquer Liaodong.

So how many people are there in this expedition? According to the records of Emperor Mao of the Li Dynasty, this unit has only nearly 40,000 people. And their enemy, the Ming army stationed in Liaodong, just defeated the 200,000 yuan army from Naha. How can the Korean Expeditionary Force confront this battle-hardened Ming army when Kitahara has been defeated and retreated to the desert?

However, Xinyu doesn't seem to think too much. It is estimated that he calculated the combat effectiveness according to the ratio of Korean army to 10.

In this way, Xin Qiji's understanding of the situation at that time was rather confusing, but the generals he sent to fight were not confused.

At least Li Chenggui wasn't confused.

The commanders of this army are Cao Minxiu and Li Chenggui, who are the commanders of the left and right armies respectively. Li Chenggui has always opposed breaking with the Ming Dynasty, and he tried his best to dissuade him. As a general, he clearly realized that attacking Liaodong was tantamount to throwing eggs at stones, but under the pressure of his superiors, he led the army to war.

After the troops arrived in Tieling, Li Chenggui did not attack. He has other plans.

The general of armies first got through Cao Minxiu's work, then gritted his teeth and stamped his feet and rebelled!

He led the army back to his hometown, deposed Xinyu and established his own dynasty, the famous Lee Dynasty.

Since then, this name has become the unified name of the kingdom and continues to this day. Zhu Yuanzhang personally ordered: North Korea is a country that will never be conquered, and Ming and North Korea formally take the Yalu River as the boundary. North Korea respects the Ming Dynasty and adopts the date of next year. Since then, successive kings of Korea have sent envoys to the Ming Dynasty after they succeeded to the throne, and they have been confirmed and titled by Ming Chengzu.

Zhu Yuanzhang and Li Chenggui confirmed the harmonious and friendly relations between the Ming Dynasty and North Korea, and made a commitment to help each other. Later history proved that they all kept their promises.

The founding of the People's Republic of Li Chenggui and the establishment of a harmonious relationship between the Ming Dynasty and North Korea had an impact on the development of the late Ming Dynasty, and in a sense, it also had a certain causal relationship with today's cultural exchanges. Where does this start? Listen to me slowly:

1506, many years after the establishment of the Li Dynasty 100, the emperor Zhong of the Li Dynasty succeeded to the throne. During his thirty-eight years as king, a medical official achieved something by his own efforts. More than 400 years later, the story of the medical officer was made into a TV series, which was all the rage.

This TV series is Dae Jang Geum.

Therefore, Li Chenggui's decision to gnash her teeth has far-reaching implications.

North Korea became a vassal state of Daming, and Kitahara was beaten to death, hiding in the desert and eating sand all day. The powerful Ming dynasty finally determined the boundaries of the empire. After the prosperous Tang Dynasty, after hundreds of years, the Central Plains regime was finally no longer afraid of nomadic attacks, and a huge empire stood up again. It used its own strength to ensure that the subjects of this country can live and work in peace and contentment, and the economy and culture can develop continuously without interference.

Today, we have to say that this is a remarkable achievement.
