The "Book of Changes" is vast and subtle, all-encompassing. "What is big has no outside, what is small has no inside" ("Lu Shi Chun Qiu"), these two sentences are very familiar to everyone. It’s so big that there’s no outside, it’s big enough! It’s so small that it doesn’t even have an inside, so it’s small enough! Many people will find such a vast and subtle book difficult to read, difficult to remember, difficult to understand, and difficult to apply. In fact, the entire "Book of Changes" only contains three words.
1. The first one is Shang. The word "Shang" in Shang and Xia is the same word as Shang in Liang.
No matter what a person does, he should never forget it and strive for improvement throughout his life. This improvement means moving in the direction of the upper beam. There is no Chinese who has not strived for progress since childhood. There is no one like us in the world who strives for progress no matter where he goes. I would like to ask why the Chinese people are so miserable and must strive to make progress? It’s just that the Chinese are too powerful. Today you are the general manager and you are powerful. Everyone who sees you is respectful. One day you leave, with no money or power, everyone will only do one thing, even if they see you, they will pretend not to see you. This is called "total ignorance", just one word missing. So you still say that power is bad. What’s wrong with power? In everything, there are gains and losses, and there are advantages and disadvantages.
In fact, as long as we keep in mind that everything has two sides, every advantage must have a disadvantage, and every disadvantage must have an advantage. Therefore, don’t be proud when you encounter “good things”, and don’t be depressed when you encounter “bad things”. If we can really look at things and problems comprehensively, then our lives will be less troubled and more happy.
2. When "up" is added, a vertical line is often added, which is called "stop". It should be stopped in moderation.
In the process of seeking improvement, everything must be done in moderation. This stop is very important, because if you can't stop it and it goes too far, it will be over. Human lifespan is limited. Do you have enough time to make progress along the way? Do you have enough energy?
What is stopping?
In fact, it is very simple. To be a king, stop at benevolence; to be a minister, stop at respect; to be a son, stop at filial piety; to be a father, stop at kindness; to have friendship with the people of the country, stop at trust. Today you are the top leader, and you must master the word benevolence. You see, even righteousness is not the first thing you have to do. Benevolence and righteousness are different. Benevolence is based on conscience, and righteousness is reasonable. How can it be reasonable? That is the business of the people below, not mine. When I am the general manager, I only know that our products are for the public and we want to safeguard the health of the people. Our company, no matter what industry, has only one corporate culture, which is to serve the people. This is under my control. As for the quality of the product and how the price is determined, it has nothing to do with me. All departments must fulfill their responsibilities. But it is only reasonable that everyone should stop at their own pace, abide by their own duties, and fulfill their responsibilities. If the general manager knows everything, there must be something wrong. Anyone who cares about everything ends up in a mess. We have seen this too many times. So as soon as I see a manager of a certain company making a lot of remarks on TV, I know in my mind that his company is about to be ruined. This is something that I can easily think of.
Being a father ends with kindness, and being a son ends with filial piety. The word "filial piety" is a combination of two characters, the upper one is called "old" and the lower one is called "son". It means that the relationship between father and son, old and young, is handled well and is called filial piety. In fact, no matter what indicators we use to evaluate people today, the most important thing is to look at the person's character. I suggest you go directly to the person being evaluated to see how his relationship with the elderly is. is an important reference project. Because since ancient times we all know that loyal ministers come from the family of filial sons. If you are not filial to your elders at home, how can you still treat your superior well? That's a lot of question marks. However, we are influenced by the West and do not pay attention to the most fundamental and important thing of being a human being. Because in the West, public and private affairs are separated, I only care about your public affairs and not your private affairs. In fact, public and private matters can never be separated.
3. There is an up in the middle of the stop, there is a stop in the middle of the upper, and then the end is the word "zheng".
This righteousness is called Tao. When we say that a person is very enlightened, we mean that he comes from the superior. But mistakes often happen and things go astray, so you have to adjust in time and keep pulling back. This is called life.
Shang, Zhi, Zheng, these three words are all just a little bit different. Adding a vertical line to one becomes Zhi, and adding a horizontal line above Zhi makes it Zheng. Any Chinese character with an upper horizontal line and a lower horizontal line tells us that the upper horizontal line is called Dingtian and the lower horizontal line is called standing ground. To be a human being, one must stand upright and upright.
To make a name, go to Ye Dong; to read Feng Shui, go to Ye Dong; if you have a crisis, go to Ye Dong; if you have confusion, go to Ye Dong; if you want to do divination, go to Ye Dong; if you want to read horoscopes, go to Ye Dong.
