Rename one

My cousin has two children, a boy named Cheng Cheng and a girl named Xiao Yu.

The boy's name is exactly the same as the word (Cheng) in my father's name, and the girl's name is exactly the same as the word (Yu) in my mother's name.

It stands to reason that my cousin's children should call me parents, grandparents, right?

I think it's disrespectful to address elders like this.

I quarreled with my cousin and wanted her to change the name of the child again. My cousin says we don't pay attention to these children.

My mother-in-law's family is very taboo.

When I first got married, my niece gave me a heavy name. The next day, my sister-in-law took my niece to the police station and changed her name.

According to my sister-in-law, my sister-in-law and my mother-in-law have the same name. My sister-in-law later changed her name, and others have called her for more than ten years.

According to the old people, names within three generations should not be pronounced the same, because that would be unlucky and disrespectful to elders.

This is handed down from ancient times.

In our modern times, there are still some people who follow this principle and name their children, and they will not name their children with the same pronunciation and words as their elders.

It is unlucky for the elders. Although there is no scientific basis, I still believe that it is better not to believe than to believe.
