It is best to use separate microphones and headphones, so the effect will be better. Without headphones, the soundtrack played during recording will be recorded, which may cause howling; recording with the laptop's built-in microphone may record the noise when the machine is running.

Use cool edit to record poetry recitation with soundtrack: Turn on the microphone switch before recording, run COOL EDIT PRO and then turn on: Recording mixer: As shown below (note: the sound card used in the computer is different, the recording control adjustment panel is also different)
In the pop-up dialog box. Select the microphone and adjust the microphone volume
1: Click in the upper left corner to switch to the multi-track interface, right-click on the waveform window of audio track 1 and select Insert audio file (insert your soundtrack), as follows Figure
2: Prepare the microphone, adjust the microphone volume, and put on the headphones. Press the R key on track 2, then press the record key, listen to the soundtrack in the headphones, and recite along with the soundtrack
3: After reciting, press to stop recording (the processing of the recording is ignored here ), click in the menu: Edit/Mix to File/All Waveforms, as shown below
4: The software will start processing. After mixing is completed, the software will automatically jump to the editing interface, click on file: Save as;
5: In the pop-up: Save Waveform As dialog box, find MP3PRO in the Save Type and select it. After naming it, press the Save button. Note: You can choose the type of file to save according to your own needs. Generally, it is saved as a file in MP3 format.
