According to historical records, during the Song Dynasty, Zhong moved southward on a large scale. At that time, Zhong Youwen, a senior official in the DPRK, was angered by his opposition to Wang Anshi's political reform, and the imperial edict was issued to punish Zhong Youwen's nine families. Zhong then took refuge in the south. However, in the period, Zhong Youwen was rehabilitated by the court, and his descendant Zhong Tianzhu was sent to Guangdong as a general. Zhong became a famous family in Guangdong and distributed all over Guangdong. According to the genealogy of Henglangzhong, Xiahenglangzhong is a descendant of Zhong Tianzhu.
The descendants of Gongzhong Tianzhu (famous wall), Yuanling (famous altar) and Ling Rui (famous hall) moved to all parts of the county.
