Plains Areas on land with relatively small altitudes are called plains. Plains are the flattest areas on land, with altitudes generally below 200 meters. The plain landform is broad and flat with very small fluctuations. It is distinguished from hills by its smaller fluctuations and from plateaus by its smaller height.
The altitude is generally above 1,000 meters, with a vast area and open terrain. The surrounding area is bounded by obvious steep slopes. The relatively complete large-area uplifted area is called a plateau. The main difference between a plateau and a plain is its higher altitude, which is distinguished from mountains by its complete large-area uplift.
Mountains that are less than 500 meters above sea level, or mountains that are less than 300 meters above sea level, are called hills. The hilly distribution area is called hilly land.
Mountains refer to highlands with an altitude of more than 500 meters. They are highly undulating, with steep slopes and deep valleys. They are generally distributed in veins. The difference between mountains and hills is that the height difference in mountains is greater than in hills.
