Qiangbalin Temple can be visited. At present, it is open to the public free of charge. The opening hours are from 9 am to 4 pm every day. Qamdo Qiangbalin Temple is located at the intersection of Angqu and Zhaqu rivers in Qamdo town. It is towering under Hengduan Mountains and stands on the red soil layer cut by ancient glaciers. The temple was founded in 1444 by Zong Kaba disciple Xi Rao Songbu. The main Buddha in the temple is Qiangba (mercy) Buddha, so the temple was named Changdu Qiangbalin Temple.
