How do individuals register trademarks?

In China, the State Trademark Office restricted individual registered trademarks in early 2007. If an individual in Chinese mainland wants to register a trademark, he/she must submit a copy of his/her personal ID card and a copy of his/her business license as supporting documents. Individuals from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and abroad are not subject to this condition. An individual applying for a trademark is the same as an enterprise applying for a trademark. You need to prepare commonly used trademark pictures and fill out an application form. Submit an application to the Trademark Office, and the Trademark Office will accept the concurrent acceptance notice within one month after receiving the application documents. After 3-4 months, you can check the details of the submitted application on the website of the Trademark Office. Trademark substantive examination: During the period of 12- 18 months after the trademark application is accepted, the Trademark Office will examine the submitted trademark application, that is, check whether there are the same or recent previously registered trademarks in the prior registration information. If the same or similar prior registered trademark is found on the same or similar goods or services during the examination, the application will be rejected soon. If the applicant refuses to accept it, he may file a trademark review with the Trademark Review and Adjudication Board. If, after examination, no information identical with or recent to the earlier registered trademark is found on the same or similar goods or services, it shall be announced for a period of three months. During the announcement period, when another person or company thinks that the application conflicts with its trademark right, it may raise a trademark objection, and the objected trademark registration applicant shall reply to the reasons for the objection to facilitate the ruling of the trademark objection. If no objection is raised during the announcement period, the closing date of the announcement is the date of trademark approval and registration, and the Trademark Office will issue a trademark registration certificate within two months.
