Dabei Temple in Beijing introduces Dabei Temple. The front hall is full of bamboos, with well-proportioned stems and beautiful branches and leaves. Generally speaking, bamboo will wither in late autumn. The bamboo here is unique, even if it is frozen with snow, it is still green, which is a rare sight in eight places. The temple was built on the middle of Pingpo Mountain.
Dabei Temple, formerly known as Yin Ji Temple, was built in Liao and Jin Dynasties (1033). In the 29th year of Jiajing in Ming Dynasty (1550), the Great Compassion Pavilion was built behind the original second-floor hall to worship Guanyin Bodhisattva. To the north of the eaves of the temple, there is an inscription for the twenty-ninth year of Jiajing, Emperor Shizong of the Ming Dynasty, on which a temple was built: "Today's recluse is in the west of the capital, where the land is straight and round, and the mountains are here, and the dragons are back, and the qi is stagnant, which is better than trees and water flowing in all directions. In the meantime, there was a room behind the temple, so it became a great compassion pavilion. " In the fifty-first year of Kangxi in Qing Dynasty (17 12), the temple was rebuilt and changed to "Dabei Temple".
Dabei Temple was rebuilt in the 60th year of Qianlong (1795).
Dabei Temple is one of the eight largest temples in Beijing, located in the middle of Pingpo Mountain in the western hills of Beijing. A mile northwest of Sanshan Temple, deep in the forest, there are many grotesque stones on both sides of the mountain road coming out of Sanshan Temple.
Dabei Temple, which faces south, enters the Cuizhu Garden (bamboo named "Huangpi just born", a rare species) and climbs the stairs, where herbs and rockery bonsai are placed. The plaque in the main hall is "the sea of sorrow"
