How to train a husky well

Huskies (detailed introduction)

Huskies are famous for being "second-rate" in the pet industry. Of course, this does not mean that huskies are stupid, but they sometimes make some expressions. It will make people laugh. In fact, Huskies are not stupid, and as long as they are properly trained, they can still become outstanding dogs. However, I believe that how to train Huskies has troubled many people. Let’s talk about the method.

1. Do not lift the collar upwards. Excessive force may damage the Husky’s neck.

2. Don’t punish the husky that got into trouble afterwards. If you really want to teach the Husky a lesson, it must be done when the Husky is getting into trouble, so that the Husky will understand and remember it.

3. Do not punish Huskies by depriving them of food and water. Deprivation of food and water will cause great harm to the Husky's health. Especially for young huskies and old huskies, going without food and water is simply a test of life for them. Therefore, extreme methods such as fasting of food and water cannot be applied to the training life of Huskies.

4. Do not give the Husky severe physical punishment, and do not hit it with things it has chewed. The use of corporal punishment is not recommended for Huskies. Like children, many Huskies will have a rebellious psychology towards pain, which can easily backfire. Severe corporal punishment will only make the Husky's behavior worse next time, and the wrong behavior will be more frequent.

5. Do not chase the husky, which will make the naughty husky more excited and put the timid dog in danger due to excessive fear. If the parent chases the husky, the naughty husky will think that the parent is playing a game with it, so it will become more excited and run like a runaway horse. Another situation is that the husky parents chase too fast and too fiercely, causing some timid huskies to be frightened by the sudden action and run further away in fright.

To train Huskies, you must master the method. If the dog's performance is not particularly good, don't blame them. Give them more time and encourage them. Give them timely rewards when they behave well, or you can pet them and say some words of encouragement. Focus on encouragement as much as possible, and then provide appropriate criticism and education. Spend more time and energy, and I believe you can train the Husky well.
