According to the regulations, newborns can change their names before registering, and the police station will handle it in accordance with the regulations. As long as the child has not changed his name before, both parents reach an agreement, and both parents can change the name of the child by bringing the household registration book, ID card and application form to the police station where the household registration is located, and the processing time for changing the name is greatly shortened. However, it is not allowed to apply for name change again within 3 years.
It's easier to change the names of younger children. Parents who apply for birth certificates should first fill in the registration form for the first issuance of the Birth Medical Certificate, and the names of newborns should be printed according to the names filled in by parents. Once the birth certificate is printed and issued, any information cannot be changed, and the hospital has no right to change other people's names. There are three copies of birth medical certificate (front page, secondary page and stub page).
Sanlian is a whole piece of paper, which can't be cut out without permission. The stub page is cut out and kept by the issued hospital, and the secondary page is cut out and pasted by the police station on the secondary page of the birth medical certificate of the household registration application, so the name of the household registration book should be based on the name of the birth certificate. If you need to change the name of the newborn, you can take the birth certificate to the police station to register.
Then change the name in the household registration office of the police station, and the name on the birth certificate will be filled in as the baby's previous name in the household registration book. Does not affect the use of birth certificates.
Special reminder
Renaming must be cautious, because after renaming, it will involve a series of problems such as your bank card, social security, medical insurance and property right certificate. If it is not handled well, it will also cause a lot of trouble.
