Guijie is located in Dongzhimen, the west section of Dongzhimen overpass on the Second Ring Road, and the east end of Jiaodaokou East Street in the west.
What does the word "Gui" mean?
Pronunciation: (Guǐ). "Reed" refers to the ancient utensils for holding food, with round mouth and round ears. Guijie Street used to be called Ghost Street, because the lights never went out all night, and the distant lights fluttered at night, just like a group of ghost fires. So it also means homophonic.
