It was named in memory of Confucius. During the Ming Dynasty, Longchang was a cultural center. Important scholars gathered here and developed Confucius' thoughts. In 1736 AD, later generations opened Confucius Park in memory of Confucius. It was named after Confucius. Longchang belongs to Sichuan Province and is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Neijiang City. It is located in the southeast of Sichuan Province.
