Fuzhou’s new regulations allow Taiwanese to work as self-employed people locally
The Fuzhou Municipal Government recently issued “Several Opinions on the Registration and Management of Individual Business Ownership Applications for Taiwanese Residents in Fuzhou (Trial)”, 10 Taiwan residents have been approved to register with the local industrial and commercial authorities.
The "Opinions" stipulate that Taiwan residents who apply to establish individual industrial and commercial households in the administrative area of ??Fuzhou City can directly register and manage them with the county (city) or district industrial and commercial administration bureau where the business is located.
Taiwanese residents can apply for registration in Fuzhou. The business scope is: retail (excluding tobacco retail), catering, resident services and other service industries such as hairdressing, beauty and health care services, bathing, and washing and dyeing. , photography and printing services, automobile and motorcycle repair and maintenance, repair of household appliances and other daily necessities, import and export of goods and technology.
The "Opinions" stipulate that the local industrial and commercial department issues the same "Individual Industrial and Commercial Household Business License" to Taiwan residents as mainland residents. The only difference is that "Taiwan Resident" is added after "Operator Name" ?Four words. Chen Qiong, director of the Foreign Investment Branch of the Fuzhou Municipal Administration for Industry and Commerce, said that industrial and commercial departments at all levels will set up "green channels" for Taiwan residents to apply for individual industrial and commercial households at registration sites, providing one-stop services for application, acceptance, and approval. Taiwan resident self-employed businesses can also voluntarily join the Self-employed Workers Association.
At present, 10 Taiwan residents including Zeng Xiangde and Chen Yongqing have applied to and received approval from the local industrial and commercial department. They are mainly engaged in catering, jewelry retail, fruit wholesale and other industries. ;
