The most sophisticated explanation in this regard is the Consciousness-Only Sect, or look at the Consciousness-Only treatises. But even after the explanation is completed, it is estimated that it will be difficult for ordinary people to understand and distinguish.
Part of my personal understanding: Thinking is a voluntary and spontaneous act that actively causes the mind to create 'karma' (thinking process). The seventh consciousness drives the sixth consciousness to look for things that can trigger "thinking". I think this is a normal process.
Intention is generated by the function of ‘consciousness’. You can refer to the sentence "Three different meanings, gather the mind of the name, think about the meaning of the name, and understand the different meanings" and think about it slowly.
Be mindful of the situation and never forget it. You can slowly understand it by comparing it with the state of ‘mindfulness’ in your daily life.
I think this behavior can correspond to all the behaviors of the "heart", but this behavior itself is an behavior that treats people differently. ‘Thinking’ itself is also one of the functions of ‘heart’.
The above is just my personal understanding. I don’t dare to say that it is completely correct. I hope I can discuss it with everyone.
