Is it better to name a child today with a single character or a double character?

1. One-letter names are easy to remember

It is easier to name your child with single words that are easier to read and easier to remember. Especially when babies first enter school, they are not very good at writing. If you pick up single words, your baby will quickly complete the name item in the homework book. But the only disadvantage is that the repetition rate of single-character names is too high, not to mention the hundreds of millions of people in China, so the chance of having the same name as someone else is really high. When I was in school, there were often people in the class who had the same name and gender.

2. Double-letter names have a low chance of duplication

Most of today’s children’s names are double-letters. The reason is that the words are too repetitive. And double-character names reduce the possibility of duplicate names. In addition, the two-letter name makes people feel particularly friendly when read, and can shorten the distance between you and others. Two-letter names such as Jingjing and Yuanyuan make them sound familiar without feeling strange.
