September 20th every year is "national love teeth day". The purpose of setting up this day is to mobilize all sectors of society to participate in and support oral health care, extensively carry out mass oral health education, enhance self-awareness and ability of oral health care, and improve the oral health level of the people throughout the country.
In order to welcome this year's "national love teeth day", the "Healthy Teeth in China" 920 Oral Health Science Conference was held in Beijing, sponsored by the China Dental Prevention Foundation, supported by the People's Daily Health Client as the chief media, and supported by the Shushida brand of Herion China, the world's leading consumer health company. The conference aims to gather the strength of all parties, build a platform for oral health science popularization, and improve the oral health level of Chinese people.
Set the background
Dental caries and periodontal disease are common and frequently-occurring diseases that endanger the oral health of Chinese people, and are the most common oral diseases that endanger the healthy growth of children and adolescents.
According to the survey, there are about 600-700 million people suffering from dental diseases of different degrees in China, among which dental caries are the most, with more than 2 per capita, and there are about 2 billion dental caries in China. The prevalence of periodontal disease is as high as 80%.
According to 1982 national survey data of dental caries and periodontal disease among primary and secondary school students:
(1) The caries rate of deciduous teeth aged 7-9 was 79.60% in urban areas and 85.50% in rural areas. The average caries rate of deciduous teeth in urban areas is 3.8, and that in rural areas is 2.7.
(2) The caries rate of 7-year-old permanent teeth reached 265,438 0%.
(3) The caries rate of permanent teeth aged12 was 45.90% in urban areas, 3 1.60% in rural areas, 1.04 in urban areas and 0.65 in rural areas.
(4) The caries rate of permanent teeth aged17 was 4 1.00. %.
(5) The prevalence rate of gingivitis in15 years old population is 70-90%.
(6) 15 years old, the detection rate of dental calculus is 50-90%.
(7) The brushing rate of primary school students is 50-90% in cities, but less than 10% in rural areas.
(8) The poor oral hygiene rate of students is 65-85% in cities and 70-90% in rural areas.
