Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism are both traditional civilizations of China and treasures of the world!
There are auspicious days in Buddhism, and they are very accurate.
Of course, I ching can also be used, depending on which one you believe.
Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism are one, and nine streams are homologous.
Western scholars are known as the "Three Sages of the East". The first is Laozi, the second is Confucius, and the third is Huineng, the sixth ancestor, which just represents the three religions of China: Confucianism represented by Confucius, Taoism represented by Laozi, and China Buddhism represented by Huineng, the sixth ancestor of Zen.
The most important thing of Confucianism is one word: "ethics", which is ethics. In feudal society, because of people's different social status and class, everyone should be in his place. According to Confucianism, a chess game in the world, where God puts you and what powers, responsibilities and obligations he gives you, then you will abide by and perform your responsibilities and obligations, and you will be happy in knowing and doing. This is actually the earliest "spiral theory".
The core of Taoism is "life", which is not only the life of life, but also the life of practice-it is complete in the sense. As a living person rather than a machine, with such "life" or life, you can live a valuable life. You should cultivate a good life, a happy life and a healthy life, and then you can live a valuable life. Although Laozi's Tao Te Ching is only 5,000 words, it is the most influential philosopher in the world. Every sentence in Tao Te Ching is "royal jelly". I may use three or five words all my life. At present, the most cited "no matter how smart a person is, he is stupid" is not actually the core view of Laozi. The core is "knowing his men and keeping his women, being the best in the world." For the world stream, Changde never gives up and returns to the baby. Know its white, keep its shame, for Amagai. For Amagai, Changde is enough, returning to the park. Knowing its white and keeping its black is the world wind. For the world, Changde is not expert and returns to infinity, which is what we often say: "knowing men and keeping women", "knowing white and keeping black" and "being simple without carving". This is not only Laozi's political proposition of inaction, but also Laozi's academic proposition for personal cultivation.
Buddhism talks about "seeing nature". What is sex? It is "mind", that is, cultivation. Buddhism has seven words: "See nature, save the world and realize everything." Seeing your mind is called "looking inside", which means you have to think of a searchlight to illuminate you. You must first understand what kind of person you are. This is a very objective cultivation method. There are basically three steps in Buddhist practice, which are called "abstinence, determination and wisdom". The precepts are to do something, not to lie, not to kill, not to do bad things, and so on; I will not be disturbed by everything, even if Mount Tai collapses, I will not be moved; Where is Hui? From the beginning of precept and meditation, wisdom will gradually emerge, which is the so-called "double cultivation of meditation" Uncertainty can't produce wisdom. Only with wisdom can we settle down better. Buddhism is a very profound classical philosophy, and Buddhism is a very strict religious form. In this way, "Buddha" includes three things: Buddhism, Buddhism, Buddhism, including family, learning and teaching, and the form is the most complete. What are the main things of Buddhism? It can be summarized in the words of Qianlong. In a note written by Gan Long to Wuta Temple in Beijing, he said: "Tower, meaning; Meridian, standard mouth; Buddha, mark the body. " This means that the tower in the Buddhist temple represents the lofty and upward significance of Buddhism; The Buddha statue represents the image of the Buddha and tells you what kind of person the Buddha is, while the Buddhist scriptures represent the mouth of the Buddha and tell you what he said-the first two are external forms, and their essence lies in the "standard meaning". Buddhist scriptures (including the Tanjing written by Huineng, a great religious scholar in China) are just like the Confucian Four Books and Five Classics or the Taoist Moral Classics.
After a long period of evolution, Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism have infiltrated and assimilated each other, and to some extent, the three religions have become one. Shaolin Temple has a place dedicated to Sakyamuni, Confucius and Laozi. The couplet reads: "A hundred schools of thought contend and all laws are unified; Three religions are one, and nine streams are of the same origin. "Shaoshi Mountain also has a couplet:" Divide heaven and earth, teach Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism, and eventually achieve the same goal ",which is well summed up, that is to say, we can start from different directions, but in the end we can all achieve the goal of * * *.
From the perspective of personal cultivation, the three religions have different views, but the spirit of persuading people to be good and upward is the same: Confucianism is "self-cultivation, keeping the family in harmony, and leveling the world." Taoism is "keeping in good health, hiding from the world, and being poor in everything." Buddhism (Buddhism) means "seeing nature, saving the world and understanding everything." These three sentences are summarized by myself, which may not be accurate, but I think they may be easier to remember.
To put it another way, Confucianism is "humanity", Buddhism is "Buddhism" and Taoism is "heaven". "Humanism" and "Buddhism and Taoism" are relatively clear, but what is "heaven"? Heaven should include many things, such as "secret, providence and destiny". Its original meaning is not about superstition, but about the laws of heaven or nature, including those we already know and those we don't know yet.
We can also change a comparison method. Confucianism is called "righting the heart", Buddhism pays attention to "clearing the heart" and Taoism pursues "refining the heart" Behind this, Confucianism stresses "governing the world", Taoism stresses "governing the body" and Buddhism stresses "governing the mind".
From another point of view, the three schools summarized the world, and Confucianism said, "I don't know how to live, but how to know how to die" and "how to help the world". Don't be fascinated by the things in the clouds and fog, but pay attention to the cultivation of this world; Taoists stress "exhaustive change" and strive to understand the changing laws of the world and society; Buddhists, on the other hand, talk about "the origin of emptiness" and don't be confused by external disturbances.
If we make a simple summary, Confucianism pays more attention to a person's code of conduct and talks about the "rules of the game" of society, Taoism pays more attention to methods and "game skills", and Buddhism pays more attention to inner cultivation and talks about "great wisdom". In a word, although Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism have different studies on the world, they all advocate studying themselves, that is, starting from subjective and internal cultivation, and then studying society and the world to make themselves a noble and wise person. From this basic spirit, Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism are the essence of China culture or "royal jelly", which is also of great benefit to modern people.
